For sure this ... we did NOT think we'd get pg in June, we were just trying for the fun of it ... HA. Then I couldn't drink on my fun girls weekend in July. So definitely, if you want to enjoy the wedding, WAIT. It's just one month.
I really wish I knew about my DDs and the BD timing. But since we weren't really trying either time ... I just don't know! I'll know for sure the timing on this one though, LOL!
Jen I am right there with you on the poor food choices ... although calling it a "choice" doesn't seem fair, KWIM? I would PREFER to eat something besides gross mass produced processed junk, but for whatever reason my body "needs" that stuff right now, LOL. I had that one good day but the past 2 days has been junky again.

Wow, this is interesting was just reading through some of the posts and was excited to read that some of you Flava & Llove think timing, ph & minerals aren't important, I really really hope this is true cause Im such a lazy swayer.
Ive got the whole timing down right, but not taking all the boy supplements and not so good with the boy diet mmmm.
When conceiving my 2girls we dtd everyday or atleast every 2nd day and you Zancal did that also and you got boys, very contradicting isnt it???
But then Im just sooooo scared to go for it incase boy swaying is true
Tested my vag ph and if ph has anything to do with it, mine is shocking its 5.5 grrr
Please help me someone I need some encouraging words at the moment.

I am sorry. My FIL did that to his sister years ago, of course she wasn't pregnant....she was going threw menopause. I hope you had a "nice" remark for him/her. "Actually, I am working out and lost a few pounds....thank you"
Your working out and getting fit....more than most of us are doing. Before long you will be TTCing again and will me a fitter lady.
To all the ladies that go to the gym.
thank you GD

Begonia - I'm really glad to know that my LO isn't the only one to nurse like that. She's growing really well so I'm not worried about her, but her eating style is pretty new to me. I haven't called my mw yet b/c I figured she'd probably tell me to just keep an eye on it and start temping if I'm concerned. I think I'm just going to wait it out and see what happens in a few weeks...
How exciting for your DD to be starting kindy! I bet you've enjoyed the school shopping with her. Hope all goes well for her next weekSo glad you're able to eat more too
Cemas - have you tried upping your fat intake somewhat to see if that will help bring about an earlier O? I sound like a broken record on this thing, but I have noticed that a lot of women who are having irregular/really long cycles are helped by getting in good fats (like coconut oil, full-fat dairy, etc.)
WP - I think cutting out the breads and doing a little cardio is fine! Just be sure you're getting adequate protein b/c you need tons while pg. You can also go with fruits and veggies to get your carbs rather than grains, which helps some ladies with weight. I know how disheartening it is to see the pounds come on, esp when it's never been a problem before - that's where I'm at right now. We're not actively swaying so I'm hoping to lose before we do. You could think about doing some weights/bodyweight stuff with your routine to help sway blue.
Just an FYI - situps can make waistline problems worse, because they can increase a diastasis recti, which is a gap between the "six-pack" muscles that's frequently caused by (and made worse by) pregnancies. I have a blog entry about it written here: http://blog.naturalbirthandbabycare....osing-the-gap/ IMO it's best not to do situps, and to find other exercises to strengthen the core. "Tuplers" can help close a diastasis and give you a flat belly.
Im4blue - welcome to the group. I'm so sorry for the loss of your little son - sending thoughts and prayers for you to conceive quickly with a sweet little brother for your angel.
Capricorn - FX for you!
Alexis - there are so many gals in the thread, I forget, what supps/diet are you doing to help with getting EWCM back? What did you take in May when you had it?
Princess of Pink - ITA!!! Waiting to TTC is very tough, esp when you keep reading all the different theories and try to balance supps, etc! Plus there is a little stress b/c you don't want an "oops" while you're not swaying. I am already temping, too, even though we won't attempt for a looong time. I have thought about doing OPK's or a fertility monitor some, too. So you're not the only one!
manainny - welcome and good luck with your swayIMO you should start supps and especially diet now. You don't need to wait til you're done with the pill. Just know that cycles can sometimes be off a little the first couple months after stopping the pill (but lots of ladies have regular cycles right away)
Lola - oh your poor little DD2 - I hope her day got better and a little less nerve-wracking for her. Hope this year is a blast for your ladies! ITA w/ Begonia that a lot of the supps just increase health and thus fertility in general, so I would stick with those you feel comfortable with. Keeping FX that you get your BFP very soon
daisy - FX for you to get your bfp quickly. For your skin, have you considered cutting out the wheat/breads/pasta? That has helped a lot of ppl clear up skin issues. Eat potatoes, fruits, and high-carb veggies to get your carbs for blue swaying. Potatoes have tons of potassium, too
Tink - that is awesome that your DH is so on board, it's great when our men are supportiveYou are getting really close - I hope you get your blue BFP right away
IMO it's important for both the man and the woman to eat hearty - the studies *definitely* show a correlation between gender and maternal influence. We also eat a pretty paleo diet here - right now really so as I'm hoping to lose this baby weight. I will add in more potatoes and stuff when it's time to sway, though (and I'm still drinking milk). I think it's a good boy diet
3PNB - girl I love you lol! You relate all this family drama and you sound so confident with yourself and your fam, I love that. I know that it can be really hard to deal with family, so I applaud you for just knowing what is right for you, DH, and your kids. I sincerely hope that your BIL and his gf can get their act together for their DC1 and the baby on the way. Our kids do great with their schoolwork, are well-mannered, and polite too - so I also ignore anyone who says that we are "too strict" or whatever. I think it's hilarious that ppl will say how great they are and how HAPPY they are, then turn around and say "aren't you being too strict?!" The reason we have happy, polite children is b/c they feel comfortable with boundaries! They have a lot of fun b/c we can take them places and give them experiences that we couldn't if they didn't know how to act. Ppl just don't get that.
b3blue - I hope you're able to get pg and have your little bean hang in there this time around. Can you explain more about what the protein s deficieny is?
Flava - smiley on the monitor means BD time right? It's interesting that you're getting your peak high reading and smiley the same day. If you are comfortable waiting to try I would def watch to see what it does in Sept. Even if it's different that what it does for most women, if it's a consistent thing for you, you can learn your signals and stuff to plan out timing.
TTC5 - (((hugs))) for you hun. Have you looked into the primal/paleo diet while you're taking a break from TTC? I think it has a very boy-friendly base and lots of ppl lose tons on it. When time to TTC again you can easily add carbs back in while keeping the same blue-happy protein/fatsThat's essentially what I'm doing now.
AFM - Well the bleeding has stopped but I had spotting for a couple of days after the heavier stuff. That is NOT normal for a period for me, so I am thinking maybe TTC5 is right and perhaps it was just retained stuff/postpartum... I hope so but I am still charting right now. CM has been high and dry since the bleeding stopped so we will see. I am seriously keeping FX and praying that AF is not returning already.
Honor is still sooooo fussy but I love her so much lol! She just smiles and coos when she's not fussing and it melts my heart. I know why babies are so cute!
We are in the process of totally repainting our house... previous owners put in this horrible textured paint and painted the window frames, switchplates, and outlet covers in this pukey green color (what were they thinking??) I've just ignored it for the past 3 years but now that we want to put the house on the market it's time to go, lol! I am hoping we find a bigger place and get moved by next summer... after that move I will feel much more ready to TTCI'm pretty excited to be looking for a new house though!

Hello my beautiful friends!!!! I am very sorry for being MIA for the past 2 days. Its been a crazy past couple of days at work.
CA........I feel your pain sweetie. I have the same problem!! The highest I have ever managed to get my PH on this diet was 6.0. I was at my wits end (still am). I wish I had answers for the BOTH of us! Let me know what you come up with. If I get anymore suggestions, I will pass them on to you. =)
TTC5..........I am sorry that person made you feel bad. =( I would have responded with " I can fix FAT but you can't fix UGLY!". Ugh.........why do people have to be so opinionated and mean. Be like Teflon baby, and let it ROLL OFF!!!
Skrimpy...........Thank you for the mighty fine welcome! =) I'm about to embark on TTC cycle #21. Gosh though.............everyday I am just soooo blessed that I was chosen to be Kyles mom. =)
So what are everyones plans for the weekend??
Do any of you use any websites to keep track of your sodium and potassium intake??? Also.....Does Femara sway Pink or Blue???Heather

Ttc5- sorry hun, guess that motivated you to work extra hard that day
CA- don't worry about pH, I did literally everything I could to change mine and 5.5-6 was the best I could ever do. I'm hoping to give you ladies pH faith by having conceived a boy (fx) with a pH of 5.5 and a one time bsf.
Skrimpy- thanks hun, it cracks me up because on one hand people admire and are amazed that I do everything with 3 kids in tow but them give me crap that I'm no fun. Well folks you can't be one of the kids and keep control and personally I'd rather be able to have stress free family outings then be able to act like a 6yo. Good to know I'm not the only one cause in Utah it's perfectly ok to have obnoxious, out of control kids while moms shake their heads giggle and drink their Diet Coke.
I love painting, it almost like getting a new house!
Im4blue- I stopped tracking when I left ig, no boy moms do this so screw it lol
So this is dumb but all the sudden dd1 doesn't want to fnd out the gender. She was only 2 1/2 when we found out w/dd2 but even before we knew she would only look a pink things, she was dying to know w/dd3 (she was 5) and again proudly told us before the us it was a girl. Earlier in this preg she wanted to know and was saying she wanted another sister so now that she doesnt want to know I've been pushing to find out why. She is afraid/sure the baby is a BOY! Now I'm really trying not to read too much into ths but it's really hard. I know it's dumb but I'm hoping this time its the kids who get the gd not mommy and daddy lolChloe 3/1/2002,
