I do snack in the evening a few hours after supper, but I've started to look at it as my 3rd meal (which is allowed on the diet) so I don't stress about it too much. I still have low blood sugar all night and morning, then all afternoon.
Mydream- I, too, have a third meal in the day. I try not to eat until at least 11am and then my next mini-meal is at 2pm and then dinner at 6pm. I have nothing to eat after this point, but I do have a tea in the evening(black tea with cream/sugar) and I find that it fills me up I've also had sweets here and there just for something to chew/suck on as it helps get me through the day. I think that after 3 weeks on this diet it won't be nearly as hard as it is right now for us. Our stomachs will be smaller, we'll be in the swing of things and on our way to getting pregnant.... hopefully with a girl!!!!

I just read your siggy and I'm sorry to read that HT didn't work for you I hope that either way(swaying or HT) you get your girl

Oh ladies, I am feeling so rubbish today! My temp dropped sip knowvaf is on the way and I feel sooooo fed up! I'm grumpy and I have no patience. Right now I wondering if I can do this for another 5/6 weeks. This morning when o weighed myself I was another lb lighter and I just don't know how to increase the calories, plus I'm worried I'll sway boy by putting weight back on. So fed up!!!!!!!!!! Rant over....

Oh swish - I was exactly where you are a week ago. You can do it - I promise. It's sooo hard to face another month (or more) of the diet, but once you get back into it, it's ok. Atomic assures me that weight loss will level out eventually, but in the meantime I'm allowing myself a few more treats and trying harder to find real, tasty food that fits in with the diet. I just couldn't face another month of nothing but rice cakes and pasta with parmesan. Take a night or two off and eat some of the foods you've missed the most - it'll make you feel better, I promise. If you need to, loosen your standards for the diet a bit. I've had garlic a couple of times and I'm not even feeling horribly guilty about it. Think about all the countries where they eat garlic non-stop, and all the girls they have there. I'm also going to change my attempt slightly so I don't make it too hard for those spermies to get in (way less Sylk, less Rephresh, etc.)

Weight loss sways hardest, I think, and you and I have both achieved as much as we can there. I'm sure that next cycle will be the lucky one for both of us!

As long as you avoid the big no-nos (chocolate, gelatin, etc.) and stay within the calorie guidelines I think just about anything goes. Personally, I always have tons of room for extra calories, so I eat a lot of full sugar sweets, but you could stick to sugarless stuff if you're worried about calories. I have cookies, Weight Watchers snack cakes, light ice cream, frozen yogurt, gelato, candy (Sour Patch kids, etc.) and lots of other ladies indulge in sweets too. When you talk to girl moms, you'll often find that they have quite a sweet tooth!

swish, I´m sorry you´re feeling that way. I converted your weight and I´m just a little bit under that, I have the same problem trying to maintain it without slipping into good times boy territory.
Maybe we had our attempt yesterday (don´t know yet if I really ovulated) but I´m feeling very negative about it today, so I´m wondering now how on earth I´m going to eat low everything without loosing more weight for at least another month!
I have a small portion of chicken, fish or egg every evening now, otherwise DH will proclaim a BD strike. I have less milk and yoghurt during the day to keep protein within limits. I eat some more fruit and sweets and had a piece of strawberry pie today since I had relatives visiting. Really enjoyed that

Didn't have time yesterday to post my day...so here it is:
Lost the sheet with my meals written on it but here's my totals- 1210Cals, 57Protein, 36Fat, 900Sod.

I went way over on Protein because I was seriously not feeling well yesterday afternoon so I opened a can of Salmon and had the whole damn thing...!!! LOL!

Today has been much better though.

    So far:
    Tea w/cream&sugar
Salad with 1oz chicken and 1oz shrimp, balsamic vinegar and tatziki.

I'm having a major craving for full fat yoghurt right now... I may indulge in a bit for my 2nd meal....we'll see
I couldn't help myself and stepped on the scale this am....I'm down 3 lbs...Holy shnikeys!

And Zanacal- I seriously want KFC now.....yummmmm

Thanks ladies! Zani, I know, stupid temps, been confusing me all along, wish I hadn't done them at all! Thank you, mocha, it's comforting to know you felt that way but are now nearvto trying again. I've decided to have 2 normal meals a week, to help with weight and to help me feel cheerful!!! Indira, we'll have to think of things to eat together!!
Well done, doula, on the weight loss!!!! Today went like this with ALOT of tutti fruitie sweets!
    No breakfast
Lunch cous cous with green beans and cucumber and feta cheese, yogurt, actimel, strawberries
Dinner mushroom risotto, frozen yogurt (used up the last of the choc frozen yogurt as I couldn't resist it in my freezer. Also gave some to ds1, he loved it!!)

I think having 2 normal meals a week is a great idea. It's the general eating trends that make a difference anyway - eating a taboo food once in a while doesn't make a difference, I'm sure. What's most important is that you find a way to keep yourself happy so you can keep doing the diet.
