I already posted this in the SMEP thread but this one is a little more active. I need some advice please. So I got a +opk yesterday afternoon at 2pm and already dtd earlier that morning at 10am. I screwed up the every other day part of SMEP this cycle because I really wasn't feeling well the day before yesterday. We dtd really early this morning (5am) and now I'm considering dtd again tonight (~10pm) in addition to tomorrow morning (~7am). What do you think? Should I add the extra attempt tonight or just dtd tomorrow morning? I feel like I don't have enough attempts in my fertile window if I don't add the extra attempt. If I don't add the extra attempt, my attempts would be: O-4, O-1, O, and O+1. If I add an extra attempt, it would be 2 attempts on O day (today). I'm not sure what is the better thing to do. I'm currently at the point where it's more important for me to get pregnant than to get a specific gender. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Thanks Robin! That's what I was thinking too. I guess part of me is kind of freaked out about too many attempts/lowering dh's sperm count. I guess when it's actually O day it doesn't really matter too much about lowering sperm count. I think I'm just making up things to worry about at this point.

Either way moma I think you have lots of great attempts in this cycle. If you didn't do the extra attempt and didn't get prego you would probably regret not going for it so I agree to probably just go for it. Good luck!

XXforhubby- that long cycle sure is weird. If your progesterone is high, that could be why AF isn't arriving right? When I was prescribed progesterone I was under the understanding that you won't start AF if you keep taking the pills. It sounds like whatever you decide or the next steps you make, that you are at peace with it and that is the most important part.

I can request a blood test at anytime. I want to wait it out a bit longer, in case O was delayed. I'm starting to feel AF may be coming soon, because I'm bloated and have 2 breakouts. We will see though. I'll probably get a blood test next Monday if AF hasn't shown up.
