bluebooties im sorry youve had such a stressful day, what is with these nurses/midwives giving gender clues!! first it happened to shann and now to you, can i ask why baby's gender would be in your notes? is that a standard thing for them to record gender even if parents dont find out? do you think she just said "she" out of habit? though having said that they shouldnt say either he/she they should just say "baby!!" fingers crossed these contractions go away and baby does ok on your scans and stays put till 37 weeks for you [emoji813] the outfits you posted on facebook are gorgeous

I am not sure if its written plus if isn't my regular nurse she should ideally not have been snooping around in my file. May be you interpretation to it is right. I hope so.

Saw a terrible dream where my collegues and class mates are all there and we have an exam to take but i cant access the web page to take the exam and no one will help me. They r all standing as one big group and laughing at me. And then i start crying and screaming at them for to show some compassion but they keep at it.
May be its a interpretation of my fears for the comments i will start getting from ppl if its in fact my 4th girl [emoji853].

Bluebooties - I don't think the nurse really gave any info away by that comment. You're still safely team green in my opinion. I feel like some people refer to baby as he or she when they don't know what it is. I hated calling my babys "it" until I knew the gender. And I hope your contractions didn't stay too long. That all sounds so stressful! I'm thinking of you and your baby and hoping baby stays in to bake a bit longer!

Ash - I keep making comments that the baby is going to dip her toe out and pull it back and say "nope too cold out there." lol We just had our 2nd snow storm of the season and December just started! Today is the kid's first snow day of the school year.

bluebooties i dont think the gender would even be on your file unless it was linked to a problem/diagnosis for baby would it? bad dreams are horrid and so are peoples comments!! why people have such a problem with single gender families is beyond me, i really hope this is your boy but if not then your girls will have their very own girl gang and seeing maximbella post about growing up being one of 4 girls i think its an amazing family to grow up in!!

Kat glad everything went well are you having a planned c-section? im struggling to keep up with who is doing what!!

Yes it shouldnt be on my file but then i sm not sure. Personally i am not feeling too sad its just the social pressures the comments that make me feel as i if "having a boy" is an privilege/achievement that i failed to get. I love my 3 girl pattern its is just heart melting seeing them interact beyond adorable. And a 4th will just be a cherry on top !

Bluebooties- I️ am so sorry that you had a rough appointment. I️ feel that everyone here refers to the baby as she out of habit so I️ too feel that you are still team green. Are the contractions gone now? Hope the baby stays in there for long. Big hugs. You take care of yourself and don’t worry about people. People won’t stop talking no matter what. We need to stop giving a f***. Sorry It just makes me so mad. Trust me I️ know the social pressure when I say it. I come from a big family of girls and I️ can’t say it enough that people are brutal with their comments.
Kat - So great to hear from you and glad the appointment went well. And my due date is also 2/8 but I️ am thinking the baby may arrive sooner. [emoji4]
Mommaxo3 - Yay for passing the gd test. That’s a relief. I️ was diagnosed at 11 weeks and still diet controlled. It’s not fun at all. I️ m just glad for not gaining weight. [emoji52]
Ash - I️ think it’s good that you found out now and I️ have heard that a lot of babies turn on their own. Fx the same happens for Esme. I️ love that name.❤️ and she is soooo cute.
LMSM - You ladies look gorgeous and are super skinny. I️ am still a giant without gaining any weight compared to you all. [emoji12] We are all settled in the house. I️ have been cleaning and organizing and the house looks great. We just got another bed since my inlaws are coming to stay for a few months and got their room ready.
DD’s holidays start from dec 22nd.
Now, I️ am catching up on her play dates and she is beyond thrilled. She gets to show off her room and new toys to her friends. I️ wish I️ could have the same energy forever.
When I️ hear about what you all do, I️ still feel I️ am no where close. Hope you get a break from running around soon.
And I️ feel pain in every part of my body these days.[emoji52]
Ladies - I️ wanted to ask if you all use diaper genie? I️ just feel it’s a lot of money buying those Refills. Any other options? I️ have been looking online and have seen couple of good trash bins which can be used with regular trash bags.

Yes contractions stopped coming around 7 to 8 pm last night. Had then start at 2 pm then they became more and more spaced out. Did get my bag all set just in case. Now i am planning for arranging time off so we can get the induction at 37 weeks as recommended. That would mean somewhere around the 2nd week of January instead of the previously scheduled at 22nd January.

Yes it is possible she used "she" as a general term and then wondered if i already knew and if she felt tha should have rather used term "baby" so as not to give me any false impressions.
