Hooper- yes I'll be testing tomorrow and Friday.
Shinay- my husband is still back home since im on vacation with my mom and dad. I had to sneak my test this morning. My husband's birthday is the 22nd and I would have love to give him a BFP as part of his gift.

Are you ladies with the preteen boys worried about such an age difference? I'm already concerned about the 4 year difference between mine. It's probably because as I'm on vacation, i keep seeing these families with several littles. They seem to be having so much fun being so close in age.

I think 4 yrs apart would be kind of nice! Having little ones around the same age is nice sometimes but mostly hard! My oldest And youngest are 4 yrs apart and they get along amazingly! My 3yr old and 1 yr old don't get along very well at all! GL! It's still early so keep your head up!

I feel quite silly hahaha. But I wannt catch that first positive and surprise him for his birthday coming up soon. He wants to test together next week when my period is due. I hope I will get those positive before that though. Praying for this month as I dont have much patience hahaha

Oh that would be SO awesome!!!!! It's my birthday on the 31st and DS3s on Aug 2nd so a BFP would be just lovely just in time for my birthday. Not holding my breath tho!

I'll be rooting for you!! FXed for two big lines tomorrow!! It would be a lovely surprise for your DH. I am Hoping to keep it to myself this time whenever it does happen as DH likes to be with me when I test so I've never gotten to like shock him or whatever lol. Be nice to get an unexpected reaction!

That would be so fun! Is this your 2nd month ttc?

Not this time round. First month in and it's been a strange one! I've recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism, weaning off anti anxiety meds, just over a severe case of tonsillitis requiring a double antibiotic, diet is lax to say the very least and the thyroid has made exercise unobtainable (I'm just best and anaemic to boot!) We had put a limit on things of starting at the latest this cycle before I turn 36 at the end of July but then when it came to time to take the Clomid I was still sick etc and then DH was sick at the time of our attempt so I won't be holding out much hope that this is our cycle lol. I'll use this month to finish my antidepressants and stabilise the diet. Might skip Clomid next cycle tho.

HG my youngest is 4 so I’m not too worried about the age gap just yet.[emoji2] after having 3 under 4, I’m happy to have a bigger gap this time [emoji5]
My temp dropped but not below coverline so I covered all basis and took the test - BFN . So now I wait again - for AF LoL .

Hubby and I decided this week that we would stop Ttc for the next couple of months , until we can get back on our feet a bit, even though I don’t feel I can afford to do that, considering my age, I still have a feeling it will take a while anyway. So that could work in our favour .

But I’ll still be here ❤️

Just took a test. Stark white as well. Had to wake up earliee than usual so DH wont know. Take temps earlier than usual so I am not so worry about my temp drop yet.
HGmama: We are still early anyway. Lets stay positive for next couple days [emoji4]
Hopeful: your temp pretty much stayed the same at least, didnt drop to or below coverline. Yayyy! Were you able to get a test?

I'll keep my fingers crossed today's tests are darker! Be great to have a testing buddy again!! Last time I was on these boards we conceived second cycle ttc and there was a huge amount of BFPs within days of each other!! Be nice to see the same again [emoji173]

I have my moments, I see so many varied families and all the ages work. Just in different ways. They all have their difficulties too. My boys are almost 3 years apart and they have their moments. Eldest just lights up around babies & little kids, it actually brings out the best in him, part of my continued motivation.
