Just had a private gender scan and I’m having a boy! I’m 16+5 today so I think unlikely for it to be incorrect?
I’m so surprised. I did really want a girl, a sister for my daughter but I am lucky he is healthy and everything looks good. I am also lucky because I do already have a girl but it’s going to be a massive mind change as I really thought I was having another girl! Plus I will have to sell all the beautiful girl clothes I have left over from my daughter and buy new boys stuff! Such a shock. I went on my own and I’m going to tell my husband as a surprise on Father’s Day (on Sunday) he will be so shocked and delighted as well though as he secretly wanted a boy I think! Any tips from people who have a girl and a boy? Are they sweet together?

What's the age gap between them? My daughter is obsessed with her "boys" as she calls them. They are amazing with her. My boys are 5 and 7 years older than my daughter though so it's different then closer age gaps. My boys were close with one another before my daughter.
You're going to love having a son. It's something I wouldn't trade for the world. I love my boys. [emoji170]

I am so, so jealous, but also understand any disappointment you might have! Girls and boys can be just as good together -- my mom and uncle were the gap your two will be and are STILL super close! My uncle is more a dad to me than my own father! Plus it's why I also hope I can give DD a baby brother -- she loves baby boys!

Thank you mama. My daughter is 3 and is so so girly. Her bedroom is very girly too and they will be sharing for a bit 🙈 I am a really girly girl too so I think I will take some time to adjust. However I adore my girl and I wonder if I had another one I would somehow always compare them. At least I can’t do that now as completely different! Plus my dd is quite hard work and challenging so a nice laid back boy might be just what’s needed 😂 I guess I had always imagined I would have 2 girls and my pregnant is pretty much the same (maybe slightly sicker this time and much more tired though) the Heart rate is always 155-160 I ovulated from the left, I swayed (although maybe not as hard as I should have) it’s strange but obviously this boy is what’s to be for our family and I am sure I will love him just the same as my daughter!

My boy is the most wonderful sensitive loving little human, he tells me everyday I’m beautiful and he’s only 3! Boys are wondreful!

I'm so happy to say I'm due nov 24 [emoji173] thanksgiving baby, I'm very much anxious to find out if my sway went along good blue swayer [emoji170].unfortunately this will be my last, and my husband is being such a downer already convinced were having a girl.which i wouldn't mind, our DD will have a playmate bff no matter what.I try being positive about it hoping the sway was accurate enough, since we have a DD Together and DSD from his previous relationship and also my DS from my previous relationship. He does want a boy of his own of course.

Congratulations on your little boy Girl Dreaming! I'm sorry you didn't hear girl. I was so upset my ds3 was a boy, now I couldn't imagine being without him. He's amazing and such a mummy's boy! It does all make sense now. I will have one of each- in the small children, as my other two are much older. My brother has one of each and they're incredibly close.
