I understand. A house just needs to have a dog to be a home!
We actually got one of our dogs a week before DS1 due date (our other dog had died when I was 8 weeks pregnant and we did already have a tiny chihuahua/maltese). I made the mistake of looking at the spca fb page and his photo just called out to me! I won't lie there were times in the beginning that I thought- maybe this wasnt the best idea. Though he is a very big, boisterous, clumsy dog. Even now at 4 years old. No spacial awareness. Just bowls down the kids (and adults) but I wouldn't change a thing. Our little boy growing up with a puppy was the best thing. If having a dog in your life is something you need to for it! My only advice is choose something with delicate paws. Our dogs paws are literally the size of a newborns face and so heavy when he would jump up. Choose a bread that will suit you with little kids.

I adopted this big goon at 5 months old when DS1 was 10 months old. 2 months later I found out I was pregnant with DS2. Its closing in on them both being 8 years old, and they are the best of friends. And Odie was a total s**t until he turned two, but we love him.

Hey guys, so I had my 20 week ultrasound today. Everything looks good with the baby.
The only thing that wasnt great is whatever they saw with my bowel at 12 weeks looks the same... but the MRI came back clear so the tech was quite puzzled. I'm expecting my OB to make a thing of it at my appointment tomorrow and I plan to tell them that since I'm feeling fine, everything is working fine, what ever it is hasnt changed in 2.5 months that I want to leave it for now and revisit trying to find out what it is after the baby is born. We know it's not a tumor or cyst as the mri would have picked that up. So in my mind whatever it is can wait as I don't want to cause any risk to a perfectly healthy baby fiddling around there.
Ofcourse even though the NIPT showed girl I was so paranoid it was wrong. The tech did say it looks like a girl and showed me the 3 lines. (I'll attach pic) but I kept being convinced I could see boy parts throughout the scan... shows you what I know. But for those of you team green... I'd be 100% convinced i was having a boy right now if i didn't already know the gender! P.s can't believe how amazing the technology is with these pics even in comparison to my second 18 months ago!

Beautiful pic of your sweet little girl Simkan. I was the same at my scan thinking I kept seeing boy bits but was clearly a girl when the tech showed me the potty shot. So glad all is well with Bub, hoping the bowel issue isn't a problem and all goes well for the next 20weeks.

Well, I have my gender ultrasound tomorrow evening and i am nervous wreck. I keep googling girl pregnancy syptoms [emoji1787] and rereading my sway. I totally realize it's all circumstantial and every pregnancy is different.
I am just so ready to know so I can either rejoice or start the process of moving forward and coming to terms with another boy.
