I can SOOOO relate! I did great for the first 6 weeks or so, but the last 4 weeks I barely shed 3 lbs, and the last 2 weeks I haven't budged at all. I CANNOT figure it out, b/c I dropped from an avg of 1700 down to 1400 calories, and STILL the weight just clung on! Just put my attempt in, so I'm just worrying about maintaining now, but it has been highly frustrating. I want to say that it is O water weight... I googled "cannot lose weight around ovulation" and found that a lot of people struggle with it too.

I think my AF is due soon. I'm sure me wanting to eat every sweet thing in sight and I feel much hungrier in the morning isn't helping, but I still have been doing pretty good, all considering.

I'm not being as strict as I was last time (in December/January) because I don't want a repeat. I guess I'm just going to have to be content with whatever happens. I mean, it's not make or break for me... I'm 26 and we may have a third child later on in the future, so we're happy with boy or girl... but I feel like I've invested myself in this so want to give it the best shot possible. If everything hadn't messed up in December/January, that attempt would have been AWESOME.
I just don't know that I can do that good this time.

I also cannot figure out how I even managed to lose the amount of weight I did... I was still chomping on chocolate as it was around Christmas! This time... it just does not want to budge.

Last time I literally ate a lot more stripped down than what I'm eating now, and while weight loss was amazing, my body didn't agree and my cycle grinded to a halt!

I've also not been drinking tea this time like last time... oh, dear. I need to get a move on and down some tea(s).

I am def losing weight people are saying that they don't even recogize me, however my scale has moved MINIMALLY in the last month. For me I think its because overall I have lost 76 pounds. Holy Sh#$T. I was losing weight before the LE diet. Since starting LE I am down 26 lbs. I eat MAX 1200 cals and weigh more then most of you! Its frustrating but I think its the process of going down that matters even if its eeking off its the overall. I MUST beleive this! I did conceive a girl 10lbs heavier then I am and was in the process of losing.

Kraisy~ today is CD25. I have a few more days till AF is here! Should be here this weekend. My cycles are 28 days. I hope it is not different with the chemical bc I had AF till CD5 then spotted till CD12.

surgenea and ribbons - dont stress about the wieghtloss, if you didnt have too much to lose in the first place, then you wont be losing much at all...
i lost about 4kg at first, and was worried because i was looking sickly thin, and then the weightloss stopped and i have remained the same for the last 2 months.

Kraizy - im hoping for you so much! Glad the preseed is working for you I really hope this months the one for you!!

thanks for the advice, i reckon i will stick to taking and recording my temp - but not charting it and comparing it to other months, and other charts, and analysing to the enth degree - becuase thats the bit that causes stress (and the opks)

Lassie - Oh, I still have plenty to lose! Before the LE, I was just on the verge of overweight for my BMI... now I am somewhere comfortably in the middle. I was really hoping to get to my lowest adult weight but I'd have to lose at least 15 more lbs to get there. Oh well... not going to stress about it now, this might be my month.

It's funny how different ways of monitoring stress us all differently; I can't do temping b/c I still sleep with my little one and he makes it impossible to sleep more than a few hours at a time - I use OPKs and those are my least stressful method!

    Good luck everyone!

I agree wtih Hope 150%...I think the process of losing weight matters more than a magic number. I only lost 5 lbs when swaying (and I still could have lost a ton more) but I was too anxious to get pregnant again fast and believed the act of losing weight would sway for me.

Now that I am pregnant with my DD, I wish I knew the magic thing that made her into a she, so I could share it with you all....wish I knew what things in my sway really worked to have tweaked the odds to the girl side, lol.
