I am not sure Houseofblue if my doctor would do one or not. I haven't asked and they haven't offered. My biggest concern when I get PG isn't miscarriage as much as it is ectopic. Don't get me wrong... a miscarriage is horrible. But an undiagnosed ectopic can be life threatening and the last thing in this world I would want is for my kids to have to grow up without a mother. My DH thinks I am crazy for worrying so much about ectopic since it is relatively rare but don't we all (as mothers) worry?

Oh believe me I worry about EP too, which is why I like an early u/s around 5/6weeks to make sure everything is where it should be! Obviously to see hb you need 6/7 week u/s. I've never had an EP but have friends that have and wow very scary!

No they don't know why I haemorrhage, I also haemorrhage after labour too and almost died after I delivered the twins. They told my DH to call my parents as they were rushing me off to surgery as they didn't think I'd make it. Pretty scary but since then they've been more prepared to deal with it and a new tablet came out that they "put up me" (TMI) since the twins birth and it helps prevent such a scary event. But no, they don't know why and have never really looked into it or seemed to care why! It's easier for them though than me! Lol!
I'm also worried about ectopic pregnancy! And the fact that you can have no real symptoms unless they do an ultrasound. That's scary!
Ahhh....so much to be worried about! And it never stops even after they're born. Wonder why we do this to ourselves over and over again. 😉

Thats good to hear that normally there's spotting Houseofblue, I had a friend with nothing though so she thought it was all ok til she found out at an ultrasound! No spotting, no pain, nothing! That scared me. Hopefully just one of the rare cases though. 😕
I'm more worried about a missed m/c or blighted ovum. They seem not so rare when googling lack of symptoms! I think I just read too much and need to stop asking dr google! Lol!! 😜

Mumofsix, 2 of my losses were a blighted ovum and missed m/c, and with both I had plenty of symptoms and with both I spotted (with the blighted ovum I spotted red and with the missed m/c I spotted light brown). That's scary about your friend's EP.
I will say this though... for some reason, with 3/4 of my losses I had a bad "doomed" feeling right after the bfp...like I *knew* they were going to end...the doomed feeling was very different than just being worried and paranoid, which I am all the time.Mommy to

That's horrible Houseofblue. I'd be a mess of worry and paranoia if I'd been through what you have. Do they know why you had 4 losses?
I just have to stay positive that i haven't had any bleeding or spotting (although with DS5 and 6 I had shocking bleeds!) and hopefully I'll see our bubba right where it should be and with a healthy pounding heartbeat at our scan in 2 weeks time. 😊👍
I must say I do feel "off" today, but the kids have been sick so it might be their "bugs" and I do have a sore throat too.

No symptoms and digital test wrong?!
Well it seems I jinxed myself! After posting about not having any spotting or bleeding... Guess what!! 😞
I went to the loo and went "OMG is that blood, so wiped again, and yep blood and brown discharge!
The only other time I had this was when I lost one of our twins with my DS1 pregnancy.
(The bleeding with DS5 & 6 was red and gushing)

Oh no, MumofSix, is there a way you could be seen/checked by a Dr now, just to put your mind at ease?.
Fingers crossed it's not what you think it's!!
