Good morning ladies!
I have a big concern and I hope I can explain things well.
We recently moved to a temp place as our current place is under renovation and I wanted some peace and quiet. We had to stay at a hotel for 2 days then switched to a motel with a kitchenette and if you all know anything about that, it means it is in the smoking section
The place was not well ventilated and they tried to cover up the smell by spraying the carpet HEAVILY and I mean heavily with chemicals. I aired out the place but the air was heavy and I was very concerned for the baby
As if it wasn't bad enough, we finally got the place we wanted, its in a great area BUT they also house students here lol. So last night dome idiot decided it was a good idea to have pot smoking party even though the building is strictly non smoking. They were coughing and smoking all night long and it lasted about 12 hours. The air felt thick last night and again, now I'm super worried. It isn't second hand smoke per se, it is more like just the smell as we do have vents and all that, but my chest has felt very uncomfortable for the last 3 days.
I have a midwife appt tomorrow and I will have the heart rate checked, but I couldn't sleep because I was so worried (and angry!).
Ever since I got a BFP, my chest is very sensitive and the slightest scent of any chemical makes me quite ill and makes it difficult to breathe deeply. I have like a light weeze going on all the time... as if I had asthma almost. It is difficult to explain so I hope it makes sense. It is 100% triggered by pregnancy and I didn't have it with DD, so it is new to me.
The landlord sprayed this place down with fabreeze as well, so it could be just that. Maybe it is the chemicals irritating me.
Do I have a real reason to worry? I felt baby moving last night when I was awake, but his/her movements have lessened in the last few days. When we were at the hotel, he was moving non stop. He/she does go through moving spurts though. Ough, motherhood seems to be all about worrying 24-7. >_<
Thoughts?

I'm glad you have an appointment with your midwife. I would definitely have her check you and baby over. You can develop asthma in pregnancy. You may need a referral to an allergy and asthma doctor. I have asthma and it flared up in 2 out 3 pregnancies for me. I have 3 girlfriends who developed it in pregnancy. Hang in there!!

Everything is A-OK [emoji4]! She is definitely a she:
I'm just so relieved to know she is just fine! Also, my placenta is anterior so that is why I only feel her move about 3-4 times a day. I'm so happy [emoji4]!

DS2's placenta was anterior and low. It moved enough by the third trimester that it wasn't any concern for delivery, and I think I felt him move more than my other anterior placenta baby because it was so low.
lucyandboys, I totally get your concern but I just wanted to say that both my sons had anterior placentas and my labour with DS2 was honestly a dream. Fast, smooth, no complications.K 2012

I've had an anterior placenta before with my DS3. It was in the middle and to the left, so I felt him consistently after 16 weeks.
This time, my DD's placenta is fully anterior in the middle. My OB said that it shouldn't pose any problem other than being annoying for feeling movement, haha!
I'm just relieved she is ok!!

This is very much off the current topic... but have any of you experienced like serious anger during your pregnancy?
I have started several fights with several people including DH. Like out of no where. I mean it's valid things that upset me but I don't normally lash out and I feel like I've been lashing out on everyone!
We are going on a climbing trip this weekend with friends and we had a group text going on and I have made it VERY clear to everyone I don't want to take 4 adults and ALL out climbing and camping gear in one sedan 5 hours there and back..
Our guy friend sent the first text and said "so I think it's silly to take 2 cars. So when should we meet up and where?"
Like wtf!?!? Just swooped in and called the shots because he decided it was stupid?!!?!? So I freaked out on everyone on the chat! What is wrong with me!
Then DH called and started lecturing me on being a diva in front of our friends and making us look bad!!! WTFUUUUHHHHHH don't you dare come at me and lecture me like a parent to a child!!!
Anyways.... anyone else experience random outbursts of rage and frustration while pregnant? Def didn't get this way with my daughter..

^^^Yep. With all of my boy pregnancies. Not to give you any false hope, but I got that way with each of them. Me and my DH would jokingly call those episodes "psycho bitch episodes", haha! It was like a train wreck, I knew I was reacting inappropriately in the moment, but I was rendered helpless to stop it. I always felt awful afterward. Except for the time my DH purposely pressed my buttons and I threw a remote at him! It was bad at times, haha! 🤞🏻it means you have a baby boy growing in there!!

This time around it's been more tears and sadness, but especially with DS2 I remember the flashes of rage.
On the other hand, I have no idea how you would fit four adults worth of gear in the trunk of most sedans. In fact, I remember trying with a friend's civic and having to send one pack with the other group who had an SUV, and that was just backpacking gear without the added bulk of climbing gear or bulkier "base camp" gear.K 2012
