thankyou blue2 my first sway was successful, my second was an opposite and i wont know if the third one has worked until this baby is born

Canada - yep, we have one DD! If it helps you, I have a pretty good idea of when we conceived her...

May 2017: we left on a Thursday night for our honeymoon and BD that night then every day after. I was supposed to ovulate the following Tuesday. I know all this in hindsight because we weren't trying at all for a baby and I didn't even know about swaying back so no Shettles

Two weeks later I had a positive PT and we found out it was a girl at 11 weeks w/ blood tests

For me, BD before ovulation seemed to be a bigger factor in getting DD than BD'ing throughout ovulation (which you would assume would give you a DS). My 10 day honeymoon I was the least stressed I've ever been, and was coming off a LE diet typical of most brides before their wedding

Thanks for the information! We have two girls and two boys. Girl, boy, boy, girl. We weren't swaying for any of them, but now I think back to my eating habits at the time we would have conceived, it was kind of HE or LE. But your experience does help because it pretty much confirms the whole swaying ideas. I know it doesnt work everytime, but it's good to know that it can.

Hi! I decided not to sway. I am more concerned with just getting pregnant and I came to a good place in my heart that I am happy with either gender. Just sticking around to enjoy the journey with you all.

Random question for December swayers - have you told anyone but your DH/DP about your DG or sway plans? My mom & sisters (I think) accidentally saw one of my Gender Dreaming messages.

4blue2pink - Same! That was my plan at least. Superstitiously, I feel like the more people that know the more unlikely you are to succeed?

Kind of bummed mom/sisters might have an idea about my sway. Tried to play it off that a friend was having trouble conceiving and wanted info on how we got DD... oh well!!

Thank god for this forum. I would be losing my mind otherwise!!!

yes i feel that too! i also wouldnt want the added pressure of other people knowing we had tried for a certain gender!! oh no hopefully your explanation worked do they know you are ttc/planning another? yeah this site is amazing i love it here

They know we're TTC so I don't care about that. Just hope they don't understand the 'sway' terminology in the message! lol my mom said she "has no idea what I was talking about b/c the message was cryptic" so *fingers crossed* that is true. You are right about added pressure of others knowing... ugh

Halfway through the 2ww, I should get AF on Thursday or a +PT on Friday!
