odd- I do the same and aunt flo isn't around the corner for me. Everything is so tempting to me. I am starving all the time. I would give anything for some chocolate cake right now. Maybe I will have to find one slice and have a fat free day in everything else I eat.

It's funny, I hear people knocking December birthdays a lot. I'd love to have a December baby! Both me and dh (and my mom (christmas day) and his dad) are December birthdays. I love it. It makes the whole months magical for me and I feel that we "own" more of the holidays than other people, since we have this little pack of birthdays in there. If the timing was better (I missed the December window already, we weren't ready and next December is too far), I'd totally have a December baby!
Rosie: I hope you don't have any issues with your new niece, if that is the way it goes down. I think it's your turn to have a girl this time. I feel like I should "volunteer" for an opposite. You know, to balance out the group. I'm in a particularly lucky position. So if it worked like that, know that I would volunteer so y'all could get your DG. Lol.
Bloom: if if were me, I'd wait until I was 2 months out from my attempt, regardless of diet. I know some of the supps need to build up. The only exception I'd make is aspirin. I'd put that off til last minute. Personal opinion there.Last edited by hotdogz&boyz; March 27th, 2014 at 11:46 PM.

Sorry I can't quite keep up. There was quite the explosion of posts, lol.
I would rather not have a December baby, my birthday is the 27th of December. Definitely wouldn't want that, lol. Mind you, mine and dh's anniversary is also in December. We have so many birthdays near the end of the months and that is when I ovulate. Ah well.
AFM, hopefully I have ovulated. Day 2 of a -OPK. We'll see what my temp is like tomorrow. Hopefully I did actually ovulate. If not, I will probably ovulate around the 4-5th of April if I follow the path of last months cycle. CRAP, crap, crap, crap!!! I just looked at my EDD should I conceive that date next month...my birthday! No way, Jose! Hmm, may need to skip next month after allLet's hope I did ovulate the other day.

My gender dreaming success arrived safe July 2015.He is a complete dream come true and an absolutely beautiful little boy.
A huge thank you to Atomic for all her encouragement when I was up against things out of my control and ready to chuck it in. I can never thank you enough. Thank you also to all the other knowledgeable and ever supportive ladies that have helped and encouraged me. I truly believe my dream would not have come true without this site, my boy gender plan and the incredible love and support.

Rosie, fingers crossed your emotions are all good once you see your niece. My SIL's first child was a boy. We frequently went for coffee before she found out what gender bub was. After she found out, I couldn't bring myself to ring her for coffee or any kind of catch up. It hurt me so bad knowing she got the boy she wanted. I am just telling you this in case you have those feelings, you are not alone and IMO, it's only natural.

Oh odd I know exactly how you feel Af came for me last Tuesday and I ate so much it was like I never had food before Happens me every month. My diet has been quite unhealthy lately. For all my boys I was sooooo healthy I figure if I eat lots of sweets etc this time round I'm bound to get an opposite (well that's what I tell myself!!) Can't wait for bfp so I can start eating oatmeal and seeds and nuts again mmmmmm.
By the way my ds2 has a December birthday and when we have his party it's magical with the Christmas tree and all the Christmas atmosphere, and he seems to love it.

I was planning on starting the diet April 1st, but figured I'd ease into it thsi week. AF started yesterday and I was a MESS. I was so nauseaus from skipping breakfast and I have just been wanting to eat huge fatty meals since AF started. UGH. I think I will just have to wait to start until April 1st (and AF is gone). I'm worried about next month's AF when I'm in full - on diet mode! It will be so tough! Might have to give myself one cheat meal per AF or else I will go insane.

Good news! I got a positive ovulation test today! CD16. Woohoo. That means I am back on schedule. It came out of nowhere but I am very happy.

Yay for being back on schedule! I've given up predicting my ovulation. Lol. I pee on sticks after I see lots of EWCM and eventually I get a smiley one. But, as previous post said, it's usually 5-6 days after seeing EWCM, it's soooo annoying.
