Unfortunately, he's all boy. I'm having a rough time right now. I'll come around to the idea of a boy, but I was just wishing for a girl.
I've already googled and I don't see how he could be anything but.
So, this is just going to take some adjusting to for me to be okay with the possibility of never having a girl.

Eighme - I'm really sorry
Give yourself time and allow yourself to feel what you feel - it's ok. While I didn't really sway with DS2, I had pretty awful GD after we found out he was a boy. It was not an easy time.
I don't know if you're ready to hear this yet (and I understand if you're not), but I'll say it anyways in case it helps you as you adjust to this being a boy... There really is something special about seeing two brothers together. My boys - while they certainly have their bickering & battles - completely adore each other. They're best friends. The relationship between two boys is a really unique and fun thing to watch. As atomic always says... boys should come in pairs, like shoesAnd you're giving your son an incredible gift by giving him a little brother. That doesn't make your GD over not having a girl any easier, I know, but trust me, you will find so much joy in seeing your boys together. Even when they're wrestling and trying to destroy each other

Eighme I'm so so sorry you didn't get your little girl. Sending big hugs and hoping your boys will be best mates for life. I know that doesn't help right now but hopefully in time you will be ok.

Thanks ladies. So I will stop googling, we are all 100% he's a boy. Right? I'm doing that googling comparing thing.
I already am feeling better after just allowing myself to cry and realize it isn't a girl for us this time.
Hope everyone else's scans turn out great and you get your desired genders!

Eighme, I'm so sorry you didn't hear girl. Yeah, i think you can stop googling, my ultrasound looked exactly the same, I did googling for several days and there is almost no chance we can hear girl. My doc said 99 percent boy, but I think he doesn't like to tell 100 per cent at that gestation (12 weeks).
I agree with abc and atomic, boys close in age are so good at playing together. And especially if you plan for another baby and get your girl, after 2 -3 years, you will be happy that things turned out this way.
Well, I also had GD after my DS2, but now I think it is really how it is meant to be.
I just can't imagine how how things will turn out with DS3, since the age difference will be about 4 and 5.5 years, and I think that's a lot for them to become close playmates or mates. So besides GD this bothers me much now.
