I hope you are right, Emily. I think it is also because I know that we will stop at two children, so if we won't have a girl this time, we never will.

GeCon, lots and lots and lots of people who O from the right have girls! And you had the whole LE experience to offset whatever gender imbalance exists between ovaries. I don't think it says anything about your chances. FX your pink bundle is in there, and if not, at least you did everything you possibly could to change the odds.
DS is nearly 3 yo. Swayed for a , but we are absolutely delighted to be welcoming a , sweet little brother for DS.
Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs. Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

Emily... good luck at your doctors appointment tomorrow. Hope you get a scan

Gecon... You have such great odds at a girl hun. I think it's more common to ovulate from the right and if you look at the world population it's fairly 50/50 so that means that Tonnes and tonnes of girls are born from right ovulation. I ovulated from the left last pregnancy and I got a boy!! Don't give it a minutes notice. You did the diet... That's way better than what side you ovulate on theory.xx

Thanks, Niva and 3boys. That's what I keep telling myself. I think 80% of ovulations are from the right. I am still in with a chance.

Emily, good luck with your appointment today and keep us posted.

bunnywabbit, if you feel that this is your month, go for it and test a bit earlier, knowing that an early BFN does not necessarily mean you are not pregnant. Have you got any early or First Response tests?
I have early tests, yes. What I'm thinking I'd do is test with a cheapie on Sunday. If BFN will test again on the day, if not really clear I'll test with an early test (which was Wednesday/Thursday, I think). Probably overdoing, but hey...

Talking of which, because I m/c in the middle of last month (so this is my first cycle after), if I get my BFP how would they sort out the due date? Would I use the first day of period AND my last amount of (extended) cycle days?

If you know the day you ovulated, just count back 14 days from that and tell them that was your lmp. If you don't know, count the first day of bleeding from your m/c as the first day of this cycle. Either way, they'll probably adjust your due date according to your scans. Hoping this is your bfp!

Niva, we don't have our betas done in the UK so I don't know the what the levels mean BUT that is a huge jump, so I guess it's very good news for you! Well done! Have you got any pg symptoms creeping in yet?

Cagirl, how about you? Have you got any pg symptoms yet?

Gecon, I panicked a few weeks ago & pm'd Atomic as I felt this one fluttering mainly on the right of centre. I do understand that fear of it being one gender or the other with regards to the side of the uterus that it's on, but as the others have said, it's no hard or fast rule or else gender scans would be done very early. Please don't worry about it too much!

Emily, hope your Dr's appt goes well tomorrow and you get chance to have a scan done before you leave Spain.

Charlee, I'm waiting - hoping it's before my bedtime! - for your update!! Hope it all went very well for you.

3boys, how's the start of a new half-term gone for you this week? Hope the kids have settled back into school okay.

Not much is happening here, I'm still getting a slight bad taste after lunch & tea and nausea occasionally too. I am definitely feeling this one popping and fluttering about and have done since 9 weeks. I did with ds2 too and the midwie thought it was entirely possible. It's a few times everyday and I love feeling it moving around! I'm starting to liberate my maternity trousers now although they're still a little big. I have a very noticeable bump by the afternoon although I can't wait until it's all baby!
I was a very proud mummy today when ds2 won the colouring-in competition at our library! He won it for the youngest age group and was so excited when he found out. We now have even more felt-tips to add to their vast collection, but they spend ages each day drawing and colouring in!

Well the scan went really well, baby is measuring beautifully... and baby has a whole lot going on between it's legs LOL... I got 3 potty shots but no side view nub pics.... but it looks like a scrotum and penis on the potty shot I guess it *could* still be a girl, but I'd be shocked! I'll post pics when I get home and I'll post the link to my thread ...

*SIGH* ... baby is healthy so that's all that matters....
