This is the 3rd attempt, though I started the diet in August. Our first attempt was in October, we skipped November, we tried Dec and now January. I know that isn't so long in the sceme of things, but I am old, and getting fatter by the minute on this damn diet... I need a blue BFP NOW!!
Maybe you are going to be lucky this time, Lola! You are having craps, right?2004

oh no i have come to terms with everything. after lossing a child it puts gender disappointment in its place. i felt so guilt for not being thrilled with a 5th and then 2 hours after her birth she died in my arms. i would trade a million boys to hold her again. so yes if its another girl she will be just as loved and cherished as any boy. its taken me 9 years to be able to say that but im proud to be a girl mommy!

LOL, I literally just died laughing at my desk! But yea, I did mildly today but definitely on 7 & 8dpo. Aw, you gals are sweet.....I really need some good luck with this.....ITA Hobbs, I am not getting any younger either. Plus, I kinda halted my weight loss thing because I figured that IF I get pg, I would rather be more boy-friendly....even though I am smaller than before, but NOT losing any more right now. I have been ravenously hungry for the past 2 days, too.
Hobbs, did you have to ttc your other kids for a long time? And no, 3 months is nothing. Most people I know take at least 3 months to conceive at any age. Don't worry or feel out yet! You know zillions of women have no symptoms at all.

Your attitude is SUPER AMAZING! I am so sorry about your DD5....and you are right, losing a child makes you not care about gender anymore. I really don't care much myself....maybe about 1%. And you know what, I think families with a bunch of girls or boys are SO CUTE. I really do. One of my best friends growing up was the youngest of 4 girls, and they were the happiest, funnest family. The sisters all get together now and have a BLAST as adults. I have been out with all of them a few times and they have like a secret code or bond that is just super cool.

Lola, that typo made me bust out laughing... I guess I need to proof read! I hope you didn't have too many "craps" today!
I hope the not losing more weight works and you have a little man on board!
My girls were both one hit wonders--one BD and pregnant the first cycle. They were also both "oops" babies. One when I was 30 and one when I was 36. DS took 3 months to conceive, so I am guessing it is easier to conceive without the stress of trying? If I wasn't swaying, maybe we would just start DTD any time we wanted and just not prevent... but I am sure that would get me another girl! At least with the sway, I have a chance for a boy.2004

the guilt ate me up for a long time. i just acted like a spoiled self centered princess who didn't get her way because everyone else got a snuggly baby boy wrapped in a blue blanket and here i was with pepto pink again!! instead i brought home an urn. so i made a deal with god any little girl is a blessing as long as you help make sure shes healthy and full term. so yes if dd # 8 is on her way i can't wait!

I just got a huge lump in my throat reading that. Bless you, woman. I know that was tougher than I could ever imagine. I think that is a pretty fair offer for God there. I hope he does you one better for being such a graceful creature and gives you a healthy boy this time.
