Oh beadin really got my fingers crossed for you, hope everything is normal - i'm sure it is though given what the girls were saying on the other thread about how difficult it actually is to get a good sperm, a good egg and for it to stick added to all the swaying things were doing its no wonder its taking a while.

It is this just a wait and see cycle or are they going to try you on anything? I have a hospital appt next month my doc arranged but that was why i asked to try clomid (that and swaying reasons) i kinda figured it would be three months for the appt then a month or two of monitoring (and they probably wouldn't have given me anything anyway as if we were ttc normally there wouldn't be a prob)

I had my hubby checked out when we were taking so long getting pregnant with ds1. He was fine. He was moooore than fine- I forget what his count was but something like 6x’s more (quantity) than what the threshold would be for “enough”. (No wonder we have boys too!) So I was kind of pleased that his output has been less this time around (noticeably). But hopefully he’s not shooting dusty blanks- that won’t sway anything!

What we actually *think* it ended up being was a blocked tube. We did the HSG (dye test) and I saw the dye shoot straight through one tube, but in the other it go to a certain point, slowed down, stopped…then shot right out. The tech said it might’ve been a little blob of mucus. A little mucus blob that gave me heartache for over a year! The next month I got pregnant. Coincidence? I don’t know. I do have two tubes but at the very lease that little blob may’ve cut my chances in half over the long term.

DS1 was 6 months when we pulled the goalie to try for #2. One month later, pregnant! I’m thinking of having another hsg test done to see if we can knock another blob loose… but I’ll give it a couple of months first. This month’s plan: soy and evening primrose oil! And the LE diet, but not going to go overboard with it like I was. Better choices, portion control, that kind of thing- versus the white rice/pasta/parmesan cheese/crystal lite diet.

I guess I’m on cd2 so I’ll stop posting in the 2ww about my stuff.

For all you other ladies waiting- good luck! Warm up those hpt’s for us and get the next bumper crop of bfp’s going! Meet you all in the due date club very soon (positive thinking, positive thinking). Especially you, Mrs. P!
Er no your still more than welcome in the 2ww you can wait for the 2ww here with me, i'm getting a bit lonely on my own now, last one of our lot left waiting i'll be all out of sync with you all next month

Which thread is this? Maybe I need to read it for some encouragement...

P.S.- hopefully you won't be in the 2ww at all next month! I still have just enough hope to send your way.

Love that!! Hope floats Great movie, too! (Even if I did cry my eyes out in the theater and had a date that night that I had to cancel because my eyes and face were so puffy. LOL!!)

Craving...my sister had the exact same thing happen with her with the HSG thing & got pregnant directly after! She said she was going to do it all over again last year when she was trying to conceive again and she never got to do the HSG...but she did deliver my nephew a few months ago lol...
I hope next month is lucky for all of us!!

Mrs. P...all of our hopes are hanging on you, honey!! Wishing you lots and lots and LOTS of luck!!! XOXO
Proud mom of 3 sweet boys...
    and one BEAUTIFUL little girl!
    (Thanks Atomic!)

    Guess my nub? LOL...

FSH is the quality, AMH is the quantity. You can have a low amount (like me) but have them be good quality (again like me).
1 DS and 2 due October 11 team green!

Thanks! I am not getting my hopes up and I have had a full blown cheat day I feel sick and so mad at myself right now. I need to stick with this in the TWW. Even though if I don't get my BFP this month I think we are going to take a break and start trying again after the holidays.
