Eleena-perfect little bean!!

Ok girls, had my 11 week ultrasound today. Baby looked great! Bouncing around in there...I guessed boy based on 3D ultrasound but the ultrasound tech switched to abdominal..printed me out to clear nub shots and said "if I have to guess today, I would say girl"..now, I wish she didn't say anything. I don't want false hope.

Smarston, why do you think the tech is wrong? I don't think they would say anything if they aren't sure

Sc-exactly. She knows we have three boys, swayed for a girl, etc...so, you're right. I don't think she would have said anything unless she's sure. Except it's only 11w, which is why I don't want false hope. I went and looked on the ultrasound forum and the two girl examples are the exact same two pics she printed/showed me.

When's everyone's next ultrasound?

Smarston- so glad you had a good ultrasound and I hope the tech was right!

I have my NT one week from today. Hoping to have my NIPT back before that as I think I'll be able to enjoy it more once I'm not guessing a sex. Today I had a normal exam with doppler, all sounds good. Baby's HR was 167 which according to babybpm.com makes it a boy now lol.

Tem-I think mine was 167 too. But, my boys all had high heart rates. I would get my NT scan next week but we're in disney. Mine will be two weeks from today. Also, I'm expect NIPT results by the end of the week. I think I'm going to have my doctors office call the front desk of the hotel with results and have them sent up a gender reveal in our hotel room. That way, it's some way fun but private so I don't have to hide my emotions

I have my next one in a week but i might have my Meternity results back somewhere in the end of the week. This baby's heart rate was 183 at first scan and kind of been down since then, even though it is an OWT. But, this baby will be loved no matter what

Ah, don't fret ladies! You'll know soon enough! Heart beat doesn't tell you anything about gender! This guy should have been a girl, lol! His heart beat was 152!! Definitely captured 100% boy parts at 13w 5d!!

My next US is on 7/13 at 19w. I'm excited to see him again [emoji4]!!

I'll tell you all something- I'm very competitive and don't like to lose. When I first heard my MaterniT21 results I felt like I lost a game I had practiced months for. I allowed myself to feel that for a bit. Soon, within an hour or two, I felt him move. Something happened. My heart warmed and realized I didn't lose a thing! I have another sweet boy to love and learn all about! I felt relief wash over me. I think after months of swaying I expected to hear girl, not because it's what I wanted, but because I just sort of expected that would happen. Gender is but just a small piece of what makes a person a person. No matter what the gender is of the baby you are carrying ladies, I promise you will love this baby deeply and will see how your family is now complete once they arrive- I promise!!

XX-thanks for the kind words. You're absolutely right. Will love this baby no matter what. Definitely cried at the ultrasound watching him move around. Last night, I was thinking about if it's a girl..and I was "slightly" upset (don't think I'm crazy) thinking that I will "miss" the boy that I think is growing in my belly. Hope that makes sense.

Thank you XX! I wish i would have your wisdom and calmness You are absolutely right about everything you say, we will all love our babies no matter what. I know for sure though, that swaying made me slightly crazy, lol.
