Hey Lemon, hope your cycles regulate a little so you can get a BFP! I am doing okay so far. I don't really feel pregnant at all... wonder if I will get m/s soon. I think I got ot at about 6 or 7 weeks with previous pregnancies, though my 3rd I think I felt pretty crappy from the get go. Hope everyone else is doing well!

Hi,
I just wanted to introduce myself. I recently turned 40 and realized that it's now or never. I have 3 boys ages 13, 11 and 8. I had always planned to try for the girl, but for a while I went through a phase of "maybe if I try hard enough I can forget my dream and move on." 8 years later and I still feel like I'm walking around with this secret, trying to hide my feelings from everyone.
My youngest DS was a Shettles opposite, plus I did a high cal/mag, low sod/pot diet and vinegar douche. He was conceived in the Summer on the full moon (looking back all my boys were conceived in full moon phases). My diet, although strict in minerals, was high in nutrients, eg. I ate salt-free sprouted grain bread, low salt turkey and chicken, high-nutrient veggies, a lot of salt-free butter and didn't lose much weight.
So... this time I think I will go LE and try to BD on O day (I really believe in O+12, but I wonder if I could even get pg that way at my age, all my others were conceived the first month of trying, but that was years ago). I really think the moon affects me, I always get more emotional, etc. around the full moon, so I am going to try to avoid BD near full moon. I also want to get my & DH's testosterone down, DH is competitive cyclist who acts and looks 10 years younger than he is... I think his T is through the roof.
I'm going to start the diet Monday, and TTC in early April.
I'm glad to be here among other women who understand! I'm looking forward to getting to know you all.

Forgot to add...
I am starting to feel left out in my own family... can any other boy moms relate to this? I was so involved when it was all about Thomas the Tank Engine and Legos, but now every weekend family time is all about sports, playing football or soccer at the park, watching it on TV, going to dirt bike or cycling races, etc. Oh, and camping. I realize camping is a gender-neutral activity, but I only do it to please my family.
My husband wanted boys so badly (he's very into sports) and he is so lucky! I love my boys and would never trade them... well you've heard this all before.
Thanks for listening

Welcome my girl,?.i know exactly how you feel!
I already feel left out when he takes them to get their hair cut or even the bathroom!
My two boys are 5 and 3.
Swaying has not gone well for me so far as I was just plain scared of another boy, now I just want to get pregnant...we will see
Good luck!

Hello bobber mittens, sorry the iPad keeps changing your name on me..lol
It seems I have another strange month....I think it is something other than the vitex. All this time I think I couldn't get pregnant bc of something I did. Time to check it out.
With ds2 I felt weird by 6 weeks and tested at 7 weeks....then it was pretty obvious.
Hopefully you have an easy pregnancy!

Welcome myGirl! You're expressing exactly what I'm worried about happening with my 3 boys. They're 5.5 (twins) and 2.5, so we still share some interests, but I dread the day they get into sports and start wanting to spend more time with dh than me!
Hopefully this little bean I have in there right now is a girl and I won't have to worry about that anymore...
