Atomic would have to weigh on here, but if you are truly concerned I don't think stopping now would hurt anything. .. esp since you don't know for sure you can trust the pills! On that count alone I think the benefit of stopping far outweighs the risk of stopping.

Some people might feel bad about having to discuss a lost pregancy. I could understand what you were asking and I just meant that I wish that I had seen the question first and answered so she didn't have to talk about it if she didn't feel up to it.
I hope that makes sense.

Hi Ladies! Looking for some feedback. First, rewind to a few months ago, I bought a plan and was preparing to start swaying in September. I was on micronor until April when I stopped bfing my now almost 14 month old. AF did not return until June and we decided that we weren't ready to try yet at that point so I went on ortho tri cyclen until September (3 cycles). At the beginning of September, I stopped taking that. Since then, I have been bleeding (sorry TMI) about every 2 weeks. Of course this happens now that we are ready to try!! So I went to my ob/gyn on Monday and she ordered bloodwork and u/s to see what is going on. She said we could try clomid depending on results b/c clearly I am not ovulating. The ironic thing is, I was seriously considering buying clomid online a few months ago while I was prepping for my sway and decided against it. Now that I may need it, I am nervous!
So here are my questions - I have 3 beautiful children that were conceived naturally and quickly - what the heck is happening now???? I am 31!!
I am nervous about using clomid and the risk of twins. What is the actual risk of twins? What other side effects can happen?
I have my sway all planned out and got my plan months ago - I actually realized today when I signed in that my membership lapsed b/c I didn't update my card (it got hacked so I had to get a new one) - but how does the possibility of being on clomid affect my sway?? Right now, I have been dieting (loosely), skipping breakfast, eliminated snacking (or at least trying), and taking fiber 3-4 times a day, before meals.
Any advice, suggestions, feedback, sharing your experiences is appreciated!
I am waiting on the results of the bloodwork and my u/s is next week so if doc feels clomid is best, then it won't be until next cycle. I am currently on CD 4.Mommy to Abigail Joyce 6/7/2010
Evan Andrew 7/19/2012
Riley Joseph 8/30/2014
Two angel babies in heaven 5/2013 & 8/2013
Hoping to add another princess in a couple years!

Hi Kell, I strongly recommend you go with the Clomid. It's among the best sway tactics and it is totally medically indicated for you. It's among the safest drugs with millions of people using it since the 1960's and I believe it to be as safe as any medication can be.
I think the combo of being off and on the BC has caused some weird cycles. Now usually over time this would work itself out but hey, if ya gots the Clomid option, use it!
I want you on iron 18-60 mg 3x a week or even 4x (if you are taking only the 18 mg, not the 30/60). I'd also drop the fiber.
Odds of twinning are about 8% on Clomid. 1-3% without it.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

As far as twins. Even if you get 2 follicles it doesn't mean you will get twins. DH and I would love twins. So when we saw we had 2 follicles we BD'd like bunnies and still only caught 1. If you are 100% against twins you may want to be monitored with follicle studies then skip cycles with more than 1 follicle, but even then there is always a chance for identical twins.
