Well DS started sleeping through 4 months ago so as I am still on maternity leave I am getting more sleep than when he was conceived! About 7-8 hours a night. When he was conceived I was probably getting 6-7 hours a night, which will be the case when I go back to work. Hopefully my body has gotten used to the 7-8 hours a night and will interpret an hour or two less per night as declining condition once we decide to go for it

Before I got my two boys i slept a minimum of nine hours per day. After my first one, i BF him once a night, but he slept through the night from 5 weeks - 5 months, then woke at night until 8 months, and then again from 11 months. But he was a very good sleeper overall and i managed to get 9 hours of sleep when i conceived my second when my oldes was 12 months.
My second boy i BF at night until 5 months and then only occasionally (when ill or something like that). But he clustered until 17 months so i hardly was in bed before 23.00 hours. I woke up at 6.00 hours as i had to go to work. But in the weekend and when i was at home, i easily slept until 8.00 hours. (we're blessed with very well sleeping kids)
In the last year i had a lot of work stress which drove me near nervous breakdown almost twice. I slept horribly! With night wakings and talkings in my sleep. It was so worse that DH was often mad at me for waking him, or crawling over him to just avoid all those scary monsters that i dreamed of! LOL
Since my sway i didn't go to bed before 23.00 hours. Since three weeks i lost my job so i am at home. I still get a lot of sleep but i am still talking in my sleep and wake often (have to finish my dissertation). Together with that i am absolutely feeling exhausted due to the diet in combination with exercise it give me confidence i am in declining condition. So i incorporate deprived sleep sort of half in my sway. I tried to set my alarm at 7.00 hours but it is not possible, i can't stand on my feet when i do that. I think we have to do what's possible in our own situation.
Really looking forward to getting pregnant now; i am going to sleep, sleep, sleep and eat, eat, eat, and dropping the intense exercise routine. Can't wait!Mother of'08 and
