Thanks hitme I'll check out Amazon. Just bummed to be so close yet so clueless despite all the preparation! Told dh I might make an appointment with my gp to see if there's a blood test or something that would show if I've ovulated this cycle. Had a check up and bloods done about 4 weeks ago to make sure everything else looked ok (general health wise). Maybe she'll suggest clomid hahaha I wish lol![]()

Thanks magical I'm about 500kms north of brissy. I've been seeing my gp for 6+ years way before I even had ds1. She's great and I've got a really good rapport with her. I started tracking cycles July last year but only started temping since march. At least I can honestly say my cycles have been all over the show 24-29 days with alot of spotting during many of those months. I'm going to say I'm concerned about lt phase being to short and the fact I cant seem to get a positive opk. Hoping she'll run with it from there. She knows dh and my age to and if I mention he's giving it 6 months because of this she may be even more inclined to help work something out (clomid hopefully heehee). It's just that it took 6 cycles or so to conceive ds2 and that was with very regular cycle, positive opks, cm, temp spikes etc and I really wanted to be super organised this time in the hopes of conceiving sooner

Hi ladies I'm at CD19 and waiting to O. It's been almost 6 months since the miscarriage now and I really just want to get pregnant. At this point I'm barely swaying for a girl. I'm doing an hr of cardio every day but we've been going to our cabin on the weekends and there isn't a gym there so I skip it. Or I skip breakfast 6 days out of 7 but not every day, I also eat meat when I feel like it. We've been doing BF every 4 days but this cycle I will definitely add an additional attempt once I get a positive OPK. I just want another baby so bad, another boy would be fabulous, a girl would just be a nice treat that I can live without.
Good luck to everyone this cycle!!! It would be so nice if we all got BFPs!!Last edited by Junie; May 31st, 2015 at 05:49 AM.

Junie I like that you've relaxed your sway. The ache for a baby trumps the Dd I know. Good for you for adding another attempt at O. Should be anytime for you then!! We'll see you in the tww very soon!

Short luteal phase will def get her thinking of Clomid. I told my doc that I did some research, and that I used short luteal and possible not ovulating and flat out asked for Clomid. He handed it over. Thing is is im unmonitored being a small town with limited resources.

So I managed to get in to see my doc today and things just went down hill from there
. I started explaining about my crappy cycles and lack of opks then proceeded to start crying my eyes out. I didn't think I was so stressed out, the whole idea of charting and using opks 3 months prior to ttc was to take the stress out of it and unfortunately it's totally backfired. She's asked me to stop temping and usings opks and relax. We are doing a blood test on Wednesday to determine if I oed last cycle so I'll get the results friday and hopefully take that stress out of the picture. I'm glad I had this wake up call as not only do I think I'm hurting my sway I'm hurting my chances of conceiving at all!! Sometimes I hate my personality always trying to control things lol, so I've come to an agreement with myself. No temping till after af and use digital opks and just see what happens. I'm going to stop thinking I have any control and just hope for the best.

Good luck Junie! It's nice to see a familiar face! It's been almost 8 months since my miscarriage. My due date would have been this past Friday, May 29th, so it's been a sad weekend for me.
Fingers crossed for everyone! I'll be cheering you on!Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.
