I agree - I didn't eat half of the stuff I dreamed about while on the LE diet once I got my BFP. I remember going out and buying all these chips thinking I'd eat them every night and I think there are still several unopened packages sitting in my cupboard. Of course, now that I'm on the LE diet again they're all I can think about and they're calling my name.... Hopefully I won't have to be on the diet for as long this time - after 5 months on the diet last time I TTC I think I was starting to go loopy!

DH was sick of rice.
Last night was veggie quiche....eggs, veggies, and fairly low sodium.
I eat way too much yogourt!
    Rice cakes
    Cukes
    no breakie
peppermint tea (although, i started vitex the other day so i just have tea now)

Low red meat but we ate it Sunday and Monday! It is very seldom.
    We eat chicken, rice, veggies.
    BORING!
I want take out thai or chinese!
I want a real gooey pizza! hahaha!
I still drink my coffee in the morning. I still snack this week but week of o I don't.
I was not eating salads bc IG diet basically only sad certain greens but not veggies and salad. We have started eating...thank you gender dreaming,,..not as strict!
Not sure what else right now....fish, chicken and rice...with very little spice and nothing not homemade..that is key with sodium.
OH, duh, pasta! However, this week I think the extra carbs are not in my favour. A low testosterone diet is low in carbs. I think I have high testosterone and I have been eating a lot of creamy pasta!

SO, today is cd 7...trying to decide to do it today and every other up to o.....or what!
    HELP!
So you're doing an IG+LE diet it sounds like! As far as testosterone goes, cutting back on protein really helps to lower it. It sounds like you are cutting back on your meat intake so that will help. On the LE diet, white carbs are what a lot of women eat but I don't do that so much b/c I seem to not lose weight if I do. I could never do the IG diet, lol! I love my salads too much! Hope they don't get me in trouble! I usually eat romaine lettuce but I've been mixing it w/iceburg lettuce to cut the nutrients. I'll be switing over to straight iceburg in a wk or so. I'm really dragging my feet to do so since I think it tastes terrible.

I'm soooo w/you on the Asian take-out!!!! My mouth is watering just thinking about it now! I love pizza and anything w/garlic in it too! YUMMMMMO!

I still eat the occasional piece of pizza on the LE diet - it helps keep me sane. If I've been very careful for the rest of the day and choose simple cheese pizza, I can often eat 1-2 pieces and stay within the guidelines. Look up your favourite pizza chain online and check out their nutritional info to see if you could fit it in to your diet. Atomic said not to worry about the tiny amount of garlic you might find in pizza sauce or low sodium pasta sauce. Besides, I've vowed not to worry too much about garlic this time around - I'm trying to take it a bit more easy so I can have more of the foods I enjoy and not make myself completely miserable about having to be on the diet again.

That's a great strategy, Mocha! I'm kind of doing the same b/c I know it'll be too hard to stay on the diet otherwise. This time around, I'm just kind of floating...still eating close to the diet, but not depriving myself when I know I need it. It feels good. I loosen things up on the weekends. My fav pizza place close by just closed (Z-Pizza) so I'd have to go several miles now to get it. I'm just not bothered w/the other close pizza places around here. I may spluge on some Thai this weekend, though...

Go for the Thai for sure! We all need treats, and as long as you stay vegetarian you won't stray too badly.

    Hello,
    OKAY..lol!
    THAI sounds great!
We made homemade pizzas last night. We used homemade pesto and a bit of mozza cheese, some veggies. We made it on tortilla wrap with the lowest sodum we could find (it is still quite high).
It tastes good but it has to be better than processed or store bought right?

    How is everyone doing?
I still cannot figure out when the heck to bd!!!
    HELP!

lemon - I discovered a while back that Middle Eastern style pitas are quite low in sodium (especially when compared to tortillas), are large and make great pizza crusts. I'd forgotten about that - I must go out and buy some!

As for when to BD - that'll be my big stress to this time around. I don't care about timing, but I do have to decide whether I want more that one attempt. In the past we've always done frequent BD - up to 9 days in a row of dtd. I don't think I'll be up to that as I'm recovering from my very recent m/c, but I have to decide whether I want dh to do frequent release then make 2-3 attempts or just 1 attempt around O or just forget the frequent release (which causes a lot of tension with him since he sees it as a chore) and go for the 2-3 attempts + rephresh to lower sperm count. I really want to get pregnant quickly so I don't want to lower his sperm count too much!

    Hi Mochagirl!
I think you should do a few attempts and rephresh. I think the pressure of bding is enough and you have been through a lot. A more relaxed attempt with less bd makes sense to me.
I am forgetting everyone's age and history. I know last month was a tough one but I forget your other facts.
I do care about timing, I can't help it!...so would not do a cutoff?
I am confused, I just really want to get pregnant! We decided not to do one attempt...I think that helps with actually conceiving.
As for timing...I am confused what to do about that.
Poor DH has taken it on as a chore and he has been releasing...I have no idea when though!
We dtd already on cd 8...now what? it is cd 10 and I am entering fertile phase.
I used most of a rephresh appiclator today....I read that we should use it 3 days before attempt.
Do you think I will kill them all off now?
I plan on bding today and tomorrow. Or maybe just tomorrow.
    I will o on wed....should I keep going?
Do a 3 day cut off (tomorrow bd which is sun) maybe add an o plus 12? (tomorrow bd sun)
do a 2 day cut off??? (mon bd)

Maybe we can help each other out???
I think a few attempts close to o and stay relaxed and let your body naturally become pregnant again.

Lemon - I'm 37 with 3 boys, started the LE diet last May, got my BFP in September, and had a missed miscarriage last Monday. Now I'm back on the diet (but much more loosely) and am considering making my attempt on my first post-m/c O, which could be in 2-3 weeks. Conceiving after a m/c already sways girl quite strongly so I'm not going to a lot of other swaying since I really want to catch this egg. I'm on Vitex and I might start Baby Aspirin after I'm done bleeding (which works like cranberry but without adding all those nutrients we don't want on the LE diet). I'll do the diet, but probably no frequent release (or maybe just a quick compressed frequent release like we did the month I conceived) - just BD with a teenty tiny bit of rephresh.

Rephresh works to bring down your ph for 3 days after you apply it. I wouldn't use it too close to O or you could kill all the sperm, but if you can time it right, using about half a tube 3 days before O would be perfect. I'm going to use less than that personally since we found it very hard to get pregnant while using it last time. I will probably just use a fingertip full when I start getting signs O is approaching (I won't be able to predict O well since I'm just coming off my m/c).

If you feel strongly about timing, then by all means do it (you don't want to have regrets about your sway later). I personally wouldn't do a 3 day cut-off if you're over 35 because it will make it really tricky for you to get pregnant - a 2 day cut off would be better. If you want to go for O+12 also, make sure dh keeps releasing between your attempts or his sperm count will get high again and you'll lose that aspect of your sway. Just know that for we mature mamas our eggs aren't likely to survive long enough for O+12, so I wouldn't plan to make your only attempt then.

    Hope this helps!

    Yes it does help!
Unfortunately, I used half a tube of rephresh already....I thought that was okay. It does say it is safe for trying to get pregnant!
Did you do a cutoff last time? Sorry, it is rude to ask since you did lose the baby.
I agree a 3 day cut off might be hard to get pregnant. Should I just go all the way through o?
I am quite certain o is soon...already faint line on OPK and o opains.
DH has been frequent releasing,....he just told me!
Should I keep going closer to o. I do really want to get pregnant!
Abstain is out. O plus 12 means missing work and "timing" it.
So, I guess I should just keep going?
The last two months we played around with products and did shallow one day out and nothing!
So, now that I am 4 days out, the rephresh will last 3 days.
    SHould I douche it out?
I thought I could still get pregnant with it!
I stopped the vitex....I was worried about too close to o. Do you know anything about that?
I basically took it 5 days and that is it!
Should I take some today? How much do you take?

I hate being mature? I hardly feel it!
I think I need to cave and just dtd every other day!
UGh, all this prepping and planning for another boy. Life would be easier if I just did not care!
