Suregena, I spent a little while with your chart trying to make heads or tails of it, and I am just as confused as you are! It really appears that your body is ready to release an egg, but it's just not dropping it for some reason. I'm not sure what's going on. What day do you typically ovulate?

I'm at a loss. My temps are confusing... my seemingly constantly fertile CM and CP is confusing... my lack of positive OPKs are confusing... and my acheyness is confusing!


Sigh.

Have you thought about asking FF. There is a member section where you can have them look at your chart and you can ask them what they think? I have done that many times and they have been very helpful.

Well, I had a perfect cycle and ovulated about when one would expect you to as I had a 26 to 28 day cycle, then I began swaying in December for a January attempt but the dieting threw my cycle off and I ended up having a 56 day cycle! I stopped swaying when my cycle was going wrong because I am traveling the end of this year so had to time pregnancy around that.

My first cycle was, I think, 36 days long, and my last one was 29 days... nearly back to normal... however, I had begun temp taking then and fertility friend said I ovulated like 5 days before my period?! Which I don't really believe at all.

So, obviously, it is predicting I am going to ovulate on CD28 which seems bonkers to me! But at this rate it may be right! However I am worried about a pregnancy being able to stick with such a late ovulation.

I don't think the ovulation "late-ness" has anything to do with it - I think it's the length of the luteal phase that matters?

I agree with everyone else, maybe go ask the FF forums or post a thread here on genderdreaming?

Surgena, how are you temping? Vag or mouth? Are you just taking one temp? Are you waking and getting up for any reason? Temping at the same time each morning before you move out of bed at all?

I am wondering if FF is predicting O on cd28 because it basing it on that 56 day cycle? Maybe you should exclude them from your cycle statistical calculations (averages). It might move you O up as FF uses past cycle info to interpret your charts. You could un-check "In stats" on your cycle list and see if that changes your chart?

What setting do you have your FF on? Advanced, Fertility Awareness, Research, or OPK/Monitor/OVWatch? Changing these around might help as well.

I temp every morning around 5.30am when my alarm first goes off without moving much except to grab the thermometer on the bedside table which is right by my face. I take my temp orally.
