ar yeah bit far from the midlands...wells it is!
so i got my offical +opk just now but it was almost + at 1pm so i reckon my surge was nearer then. I take quite a while to ov after my lh surge so i should really be counting at least 40hrs but that is going to land right in the daytime and my bd hours are only 8pm til 6am so im pretty much screwed! will either have to bd early and risk bding over ov or bd late and risk missing the egg altogether. Have had my usual phone call begging dh to take a day off... but it never works2007

Wow you guys have been busy today!
Deaks where abouts in Herts are you? I'm in Stevenage, small world! We also looked at a few places in Bedford/ Biggleswade but haven't acted on them, need to get a decent deposit together
Inglewood hope the scan went ok!
Babymad hope things get easier soon!
Maybe lol I could see myself going for 15 without meaning to! And she was talking about 16/17 with her daughter! Crazy lady!! I suppose with that many kids what one or two more gonna hurt!
Nothing to report here really, feeling less and less sick which is good! I'm busy trying to arrange 13 grandchildren ranging from 28-9 months old to get a picture of us all together for my nan's 80th birthday in a couple of week! You have no idea how difficult it is to get us all together! Will be worth it tho!
I've also managed to get ds2 out of the cot and into the bottom bunk so far so good 4 nights and no waking! He's actually been sleeping better!
Thats it I think!DS1-9

It is such hard work having to fend off people's comments all the time, even at a funeral, goodness! feels like you always have to be on the ball and ready with a quick answer. such a shame you have to feel the pressure (like you said, we all do more or less), it is all other people.
re the swaying, in a way it is reasurring to think there is nothing we could have done, then you can't blame yourself but it is also a bit depressing that you really can't do anything to sway your odds. I do believe in certain things like the LE diet etc but wish I didn't as I was SO bad on it....oh well, nothing i can do now...
are you still feeling rubbish? I'm on a really bad patch at the moment, 12 weeks tomorrow so hopefully will start to emerge from this awful, depressing, non-stop sickness.

Thats lovely that you are close to your sister
Shame that its not quite the same with your mum though.
Unfortunatley im not close to me family (long story) I haven't seen my dad for many many years and its been 4 yrs or so since I last saw my mum, although we haven't lived with each other since I was 14 so our relationship has never been a close one. I do have a brother and we do get along but he's in Liverpool so we don't see each other very often. I do miss having a family. I would have loved to have a sister. My friends have always been my family.
The play fighting and noise drives me mad at times, I would live to sit down and draw and paint nails and play with hair! Thats why i've never understood why I was blessed with boys (apart from the obvious reason of course that DH's family are ALL male!) because I am so much more girly.8

Babymad I know it's not going to make things better but from every girl mum I've ever spoke to I've heard that girls are so much more difficult than boys, I guess we all look at thing through rose tinted specs with regards to girls like painting, pretty princesses who are well behaved angles, but reality is always so different!
My neighbours girls are a nightmare, now I'm sure some of that is parenting skills but I think some of it is just being a diva!
I know it's no help but I have every faith our dreams are far from reality.DS1-9
