I did a bit better today:
7am: coffee
12pm: 1/2 a Montreal style bagel with 1/2 tbsp low fat peanut butter, rice milk, a peach
5:30pm: black bean quesadillas. I took 1/2 cup of no salt added black beans and 1 cup no salt added tomatoes, and cooked them in a pot for about 5 minutes with a bunch of fresh cilantro. I then spread half of the mixture on two sodium-free corn tortillas, added about 20g of shredded light cheddar to each and topped with another tortilla. I cooked them one at a time (on both sides) in a hot pan to toast the tortillas and melt the cheese. I then topped each with a bit of plain yogurt and 1tbsp fresh salsa. It was very yummy and very satisfying, and well within the nutritional guidelines! I splurged on the cheese - I could have used 15g on each for 30g total, but I really felt like something cheesy. I also had 2 sugar free cookies and a peach for dessert.
9pm: low fat vanilla ice cream with raspberries, about 4 small golden plums

Looks good, PinkPaisley! I often have pasta with butternut squash, but I usually use parmesan. Next time I'm going to try goat cheese - that sounds yummy!
I took the advice of some of the other ladies here and have started having a Diet Coke/Pepsi mid-afternoon, just when the hunger pangs hit. It really does help full your stomach to keep you going until supper time! I still have a snack/mini-meal in the evening, though - I just need to have something to look forward to after I finally get the kids in bed!

Your dinner sounds so good mochagirl
You're doing great too PinkPaisley!
DM - I live around 45 minutes from Bath. So funny because happyheart has also visited there!
I'm up for the day and ready to be a good girl again, trying not to feel guilty about my little splurge last night because I can't go back in time! My family are about to eat pains au chocolat again. I might put a peg on my nose ...2005

That´s mean though that they´re eating pains au chocolat, zanacal
Yesterday I had my usual boring meals getting at 1300 calories, 38 g of protein, 26 of fat and 330 mg sodium.
I found babyfood tomatosauce at the supermarkt, it still has 380 mg sodium in it.
A lot better though than the amatriciana sauce DH is cooking now for lunch that he wants me to eat, the bacon he puts in it has 3500 mg sodium

PinkPaisley – you’re off to a great start. For me, I started gradually cutting out my snacks/meals…I used to be a 5-6 meal Mama (but I was still a size 2 when I ate like this). It will get easier and everyone here gives so much support and humor, especially through the tough times.
Kelly, it’s the trend that matters. Also, IMHO (emphasis on humble, lol), I think that sodium is the least swaying factor we’re watching. While we still need to watch the sodium, it’s the fat/protein that creates T. You’re doing a SUPER JOB!
Mocha, oh, I do hope you get preggers this time! You will have wonderful conception stories although they may be a bit X-rated, lol. Swish, you won’t be far behind w/your BFP!!!
DM – you’re doing great! I know you splurged a bit on the ice cream but think about how much better you’re doing than before! That wasn't even that bad really. You still have a ways to go before you’ll TTC so there’ll be a few wrong turns now and then but the trend will be good and you’ll still be losing.
Hi, I'm Jen and I'm a foodaholic! Just ask DH, lol. It's funny how you get used to wonderful, comforting food where ever you live. I lived in Sri Lanka for almost 3 yrs and ate something made out of coconuts at EVERY meal. I miss my coconut curries...I know it sounds gross but they were seriously nirvana!
Speaking of smilies, we need a "Stuff Your Face" smilie!
BTW, I just got a BFP last night…???
We weren’t TTC last time and I still don’t know how it happened since it was 7 days before I O’d…I’m over the moon but now starting to feel a bit deflated b/c I was doing really well w/my diet…starting at 2dpo…sigh.Last edited by Out of the Blue; July 23rd, 2011 at 09:45 AM.

I still can't believe it Out of the Blue - absolutely this was meant to be! I 'let' DH DTD unprotected like a week after I O'd and the day before AF arrived and he was convinced I'd get pregnant from that. Urr, no dear, even you're not capable of that!!
