I haven't lost any weight with this pregnancy but with my last DS I did, Doctor said it was just baby pushing on my tummy which made me feel full and made me eat less. I don't think you should be worried about it. I wish I had lost a few poundsDoc told me off today cause I put on tooo much, but then he added 'it doesn't show on you though'
Clever! He wants his fees paid.

I went to the Doctor this morning and told him I had reservations about doing a CS before 39 weeks so we pushed for 39+2. Hopefully my little one will wait another 2 weeks. She will be born on 22/7. I am very excited to have a set date and can't wait to meet her.

My babies were born 37,38,39 weeks and all were great... only first haf slight jaundice
QUOTE=aidansmum;599379]It is actually scheduled for 17/7!!!! What are the odds???I am a bit in 2 minds though and wondering if I should push for the week after, reason being she will be 38 weeks + 4 days and I heard bad things can happen if you get them out before 39 weeks unless you have to? My Doctor came up with the date and he thinks is safe and says she is good size for gestation etc but I feel a bit uneasy, I would rather wait another 4 days or so, will talk to him next week about it. I guess he's a bit concerned that if we don't do it then she might make an appearance before we have a chance to do a C-section as he doesn't like the idea of going into labor AND having a CS. He says that considering my last traumatic delivery, age, etc I shouldn't tire my body with labor pains before going for a CS and that just turning up for the CS is safer. And because she has dropped and I have been shedding mucus plug he would rather not push it. Now I am unsure as to what to do. I trust him but you do hear horrible stories about babies being born before 39 weeks and having trouble breathing.

Grease so happy you re doing better & that your little girl is such a strong fighter!! Prayers that she comes home soon!!
Aidansmum so happy dr pushed back the dates for you!
Getting anxious for this little one to be born. Lost the mucus plug last week & I have been getting a lot of strong contractions but unfortunately they don't get consistent. I have not been losing any weight but I am having a very hard time finding foods that I can eat. At this point pretty much everything makes me nauseous. Hoping little man decides to come sooner rather than later but since I have never gone in to labor on my own I am not holding my breath.02

Grease I am so glad to hear your little girl is doing well and such a fighter! Glad you are back to health too and hope your family can all be together soon!
Everyone us getting so close can't wait to see all the pictures of the little bundle of joys.
We are doing well here. She is getting big, 9'7 at her 1 month appt. she just recently started a social smile back to me which just melts my heart. Recently she did develop thrush which I've never had with boys, so we are treating her and myself. I am exclusively breast feeding so worried I could get it. I think we caught it very early though and looking better.
Good luck to everyone waiting!!3 Beautiful Boys7

Oh Maria! She is tiny! Poor you - your really going through the mill ;0( but she is here safe and sound and your safe so congratulations! Pre eclampsia is so nasty. I know first hand. Plus my friend had a baby at 24 weeks due to PE - its so unfair.
You did it - a DD at last. Do you belive it yet? x

MB, nope, I sure don't lol I have been so emotionally drain that it hasn't really hit me that I had a little girl!! So far, I have been so afraid to buy anything pink and last week I went shopping with my mother in law and I caved and bought a few outfits in pink...I was reassured that she will not grow a penis
I am sure once she is at home and I get used to people calling her a SHE it will hit me!2/04

I think it's going to take time to get used to having a girl after all the years of dreaming now it's reality. I really hope she is home soon. You was due around the time I'm due so I will try to remember that the next time I feel tired and drained. I have already been admitted twice this month with my blood pressure so it's just a matter of when it catches up with me too. It's not what you expect with your third baby is it? It took me a long time to get over my first sons bith due to PE and a long time physically for my BP to settle after all my kids. But it takes times, you will all be ok in the end. It was a bit shock for you so it's only right you take the time to process it all before you can put it behind you x
