Thanks all we did ummm go for it last night. I tested again at 2pm and then 6pm and the test line was lighter to what it was in the morning. So I thought begonia's and the rest of your theory was correct. I felt the O pain all day and my CM seemed watery but then there was a couple of big globs of EWCM and my cervix did seem soft, so we thought let's give it a try, but I am still thinking maybe it was too late. We used pre-seed no baking soda but there was no need really as there was a lot of CM. I was so nervous it was weird. But I know we did the right thing to try, can't be on this diet forever either Alexis and I know I was not going to take any other supps to what I was taking. I will test with opk again at 2pm today and see what happens and if + we will try again in the morning otherwise that is it. Begonia, iluv, Lola and Kris thanks for your support I did read your comments but could not reply due to mad household condition yesterday. Spicy and Alixis FX for you too, hope we all get our boys soon. If not beautiful girls will be just as eagerly welcomed.

Is coconut water coconut juice? If so it makes a big difference if it is cold. I really like it actually. But I found it depends on the brand. They are usually imported from Thailand or indonesia here so I don't know what they are called, but there is one in a clear glass bottle that is disguisting, but another in a plastic white one that is delicious. Nuts contain a lot of potassium too, but also calcium and magnesium (nowhere near as much as potassium and sodium) so if you r not too hung up on the calcium theory then eat them as well. Cocnut water (as it is a nut) I am sure would also contain a bit of calc/magnesium.

Lola my 5 year old is a smarty pants. She already thinks she is smarter than me I am sure. But to be honest I encourage that type of behaviour (to an extent she has to be respectful towards elders too) as I think it is what makes self-confident girls.

I am definitely feeling dry today, so am hoping yesterday was a good try and not O+12. DD2 I am sure was conceived on O day as well unless it was O+12 too. Oh this is so complicated. To top it all of I was happy that it was 7 days after full moon rather than on new moon which is when I usually O, BUT after we finished I look out the window and it is raining!!!! UGRHHH. I really did not need more negative ions.
Kris I have used the saliva monitor before and when I said bubles I actually meant pebbles. It always worked for me in the past plenty of ferns were seen and that is what I used when DD2 was conceived. I was not aiming for a gender with her btw, just wanted to try as close as to O as possible to avoid the m/cs that I had before her.

Lola - I hadn't thought about reflux. I have tried diet changes but nothing seems to help. Reading about reflux I'm not sure - it seems so hard to tell. Did your doc test for anything specific? She seems to calm down upon being taken for a walk and if you hold her draped over your arm in a "football" carry - would a LO with reflux calm down for that? Also, she's fine in the mornings most days - it's just afternoon/evening fussies.
I've been going through a little bedtime routine with her the past few nights that seems to help her calm down - a feed, then a little bath, then swaddling and singing to her some before putting her in her swing next to me (she likes the swing). I am hoping the fussiness will end soon - it is really trying to have her inconsolable.
Glad you are liking the blog Lola. I think it's interesting to look back at our previous babies and see if/how they seem to line up with swaying lifestyles. Lol I should write up one of those silly online quizzes... "Do YOU lead a boy or girl lifestyle... find out now!"
I can't help but smile thinking that you are going to have to fit in a BD while your mother is here and you're off to visit your gram with her. Maybe the stress of all that will sway for youI agree with begonia - total comedy of errors!
Layla - We were not trying to sway at all when I got pg with Honor - in fact we were not trying to get pg!! We were avoiding and DD is either a 5 or 3 day cutoff... we BD'd 5 days before my O date. We were planning to TTC in May (when Honor was born, lol) and I was pretty much set to not sway but maybe eat more of a boy diet >.> DH really wanted Honor to be a girl so he was really happy though. THat helped my GD at times and made it harder at others. But he got her, fussies and all LOL.
We had cut out grains for DH, and also had started the fitness routine for him to try and help him lose weight. He had already lost 20lbs and I was losing the last of my baby weight from DC4.
I just did a post on my sway for Galen - http://blog.getting-pregnant.com/our-successful-sway/ Feel free to ask any questions, I am happy to share.
Thank you for sharing what helped with your LO's reflux. She definitely likes being upright in the baby carrier and she likes sleeping in her swing sort of upright. I can't wait for her to get big enough for my Ergobaby carrier... I will wear my bubs all day in that one!
I think it sounds like with a good 6 weeks of prepping for your sway and lots of CM that you are in a good position for an attempt nowI am keeping FX for you!
Iluv - Congrats on the BFP! I am sending out prayers for a healthy little bean for you. All my babies have been "faint line" babies and I have had worries with each of them but they are all healthy! Happy Bday for DD2!
TTC5 - I hope you get a nice full moon O for a bfp like in your dream
3PNB - I had a big problem with food aversions early on too. What helped me get back closer to paleo was to eat really slowly, and put salty sauces with my meat (I made reduction sauces with broth, drippings, and salt). I just took as long as it took to get through my plate. Also sliced my meat up really tiny. After doing that for several days I started feeling a lot better but it was awhile before I could eat w/o aversion issues. I still also at grains now and then, and a baked potato a couple times a week.
Baby - breastfeeding does sway pink but I was nursing when all my boys were conceived. They were all older nurslings but still.
Kris - Congrats on your BFP!!
Alexis - I'm keeping my FX for you to get a BFP!!
Jane- I would stick with the V8 lol! I like coconut milk in soup - don't know if this is as good as the coconut water though.
Spicy - FX for you too girl!
Begonia - is it not okay to fly with a newborn? I know a drive would be brutal, but they're still so sleepy that maybe a flight would be OK and then you could just be away from your bub for the wedding? My cousin had a sitter at her wedding reception location for LO's - another cousin of ours had a newborn at the time and she was able to have her stay with the sitters during the wedding and then for part of the reception (she carried her around some too) Unless it's an Orthodox wedding the actual ceremony won't be long if you had someone there for your LO in another part of the building/area.
AFM - things are going pretty well. Honor has been a little better the past two evenings so I'm keeping FX it will continue. It's so nice to have her peaceful than to worry about how to calm her down from being so upset. I'm wondering if maybe the heat has something to do with it too. We have no central air it and has been really hot and incredibly humid. I'm thinking fall and winter babies have an advantage! It's supposed to be brutally hot tomorrow but hopefully I can keep her cool. Thankfully the rest of the week looks a little cooler.Wife to a sweetie DH& Mama to:
