Sunset I have dishwasher envy!

Well i just weighed myself which i normally do on a daily basis but have been refraining doing it on the lead up to ovulation. As well as peeing on opks etc so that I can have a chilled out as possible attempt. Anyhow I've put on 3lb in just over a week.... not great so if I conceive this month it's most probably a boy. But if i'd stuck to 800-1000 calories a day doubt I would have ovulated....... grrrrr... anyway got day 21 bloods on Friday. And if I haven't ovulated at least I have weight to loose now again. I wasn't even eating that much probably about 1500-1600 calories a day but that was double what I was eating before so no wonder i've gained the lbs.

Well anyway I've had loads of fun pinning outfit ideas for the girl i'll never have haha, also some lovely boy bits too.
It's really fun and the next best thing to actually being able to shop for a girl. Here's my girl board Girls clothes and here's my boy board Boys clothes I'd love to see what you ladies would choose??? It's really quite addictive!

I don't get too upset about the dd comments now. No one knows that we know it's a boy so maybe they will be more hurtful when he's here? I keep on telling people I'm having more which is a good one to shut people up 'oh if it's a boy that's left room for a fourth!' I I don't think I will have another though. I don't want to give up working and two lots of childcare is too much for me.

Will try to stay positive for a lovely birth and keep on remembering it's not about the pain - it's about the baby and meeting him! X

Sunset, I too have dishwasher envy! Our kitchen is too small

I keep trying to think of ways to get one, but it either involves extending water mains which is difficult and costly or not having a washing machine in the house lol. I will keep thinking! Yep 19 weeks now, in some ways it's quick but others it feels like its dragged!
Getting braxton hicks now as well which is pretty early for me!

Must get off here and do some course work!

Sunset, I couldnt live sanely without my dishwasher now, what about a table top one, probably only does one meals worth but may be worth it?

Lavenderlime, sorry couldnt look at the girly clothes lol, only just able to take a glance at them as I look for girl pressents for friends children, and thats only because I know HT is a possible option.

Charlie, completely understand you taking a break from here etc. Could you and your family go away for a long weekend or something or book a holiday to look forward to?

I bought some cute dungaree's today in Matalan sale, got my eldest some shorts, my 15 month old a cute tigger summer soft dungaree set, and this baby some soft tiger 0 to 3 month dungaree's and some 3 to 6month denim dungaree's, oh and also a brown fluffy fleece and jeans. Not that we need any more boys clothes lol but they were in the sale and cute affordable boy stuff is hard to come across so had to be done.

Kell, hope coursework is done quickly, glad those days are gone, dont know how you combine that with kids and pregnancy!

Charlie~ I am so sorry you didn't hear pink. I feel gutted everytime I hear an opposite because I know it can just as easily be me, or anyone of us. And all of us know how strong the desire can be for a certain gender. I know I'm stating the obvious, but I really don't know what else to say ((hug))

Hi everyone else

As I've said before I don't come over here often but have always felt a connection to you ladies since I came here with most of you from PL, and PL was really the first place I started posting about swaying (actually if you would believe its the first time I ever posted on the internet, till now I was never a poster/blogger-still not a facebooker). I had lurked on IG. Anyway, if I hadn't have connected with you on PL I probably wouldn't be on this site and I am soooo grateful to have found this site! Sorry if I sound totally corny...

Charlie, so glad you got in touch. You take all the breaks and time you need and you will come to terms with it all im sure! I think in some respects whilst being on a gd thread is helpful and supportive, it also makes us obsess about it all even more and also makes the cruelness of life hit home even more when some ladies sway successfully and some dont. Sending you a massive hug and also to all our other lovely ladies struggling XXXXX

Thanks Deaks! I never want to feel like I'm intrusive, so I appreciate that.

I just had my attempt. I think I did all I possibly can. I'm trying to look at it like something similar to a post I;ve read of atomics: If I had a die with 8 sides I made 6 of them Pink and 2 Blue. I'm really praying it lands on a PINK. I will be destroyed if it lands on blue, but I have to try. I think your right, swaying and being on sites sometimes can make GD worse it sometimes feels like how can it not work? I've done everything!

I just attempted! Yay..I will have a blood test on March 8th because I did a trigger injection docs want to make sure its a real BFP. Im feeling thirsty since yesterday no matter how much water I drink (about 4dpo tonight), and at 2dpo I had some heartburn. I'm usually not a symptom spotter but the thirst is beyond obvious, and I just read this can be a early preggy sign.

You are never intrusive, i wish you were on here more often! None of us would want to think that this was a cliquey site, its open to everyone and anyone who wants to join us!

Great news about the symtoms! I symptom spotted every month but last month when i got my bfp i got less but more unusual symtoms than other months! fx for you! What was your timing like? Im obsessed with timing (the result of having 2 boys conceived on ov day i think!) and will have to eat my words if i have a dd as it was ov day again im sure!

I def don't think its cliquey. Its probably just me being self conscious!

So here was my attempt- you asked about timing (i'll get there!) but I don't believe timing sways. I think maternal conditon sways. So heres what I did. LE diet since Dec. 30th I've lost 20 pounds. Ate at 12pm, 5pm, and a small something like 8pm. Only veggies/fruit I ate: cucumbers, green beans & strawberries. I did not eat one ounce of meat, a HUGE change-always ate chicken at lunch and chicken/red meat at dinner. I Never ate over 1200 cals. My supps: acidopholus 2 a day, baby aspirin, folic acid, & For 6 weeks took Vitex & Saw Palmetto stopped at CD1 to take clomid CD3-7. DH: took cal, mag, cranberry & licorice root 3 a day. Starting CD 3 DH released everyday, a few times 2 X a day, the day before our first attempt he released 2 X's, and the day of the first attempt he released before the attempt. So before attempts started DH released 12 times in 7 days. We began DTD CD10 (I thought my injection was going to be CD 11, but it ended up CD 13). I felt I had to just keep going. So we DTD 7x's in the fertile window: CD 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 (2 times), & 15. Since Injection was CD13 I most likely O'd at night CD 14 (36hrs later). So basically I dtd through O.
Did that all make sense?

Forgot, I used rephresh CD 10 first attempt, & CD 14 day I was probably O'ing
