HUGS MFC, here's hoping they can get the thyroid sorted out. I do know Lola is right and Iluv took something for hers.

And hugs for you too TTC5! FX all works out for you to get the position you would like to have!

Lola that is crazy about the ballerinas having boys. I remember thinking Natalie Portman would have a girl, after all she went through training for Black Swan ... but nope, boy for her too. Eh. Who knows these days... really does seem like rolling the dice. Which I thought even before I swayed, I just wish I'd realized then how bad I'd feel with a 3rd DD on the way. I was more confident in the thought that I'd always SEEN myself with a son than I ever was confident swaying, if that makes sense ... I just *felt* like I was going to have a boy and that is what pushed me TTC. Anyhow ... we're going to the Nutcracker in December and I'm excited because DD2 will eat it up And seeing as how she's our Clara it's only fitting she enjoy it!

Flava hang in there love, how many days til testing? I think taking Dec off is a fine plan; just enjoy the holidays and your girls!

LBAM when is your attempt?!? FX for you!!!

And Jen I'm so glad you had a great shower Probably for the best that SIL didn't show anyhow! I agree with Flava ... I bet she was just jealous. Heck, I'm going to have a hell of a time going to my friend's shower who is having a B after GG. I'm SUPER happy for her bc I know like me she really wanted a boy, and I am 100% happy she has him. But I wish I had that joy for myself, and that's where it is hard.

Oh ladies, I don't know what to do!! So I am due to ovulate in less than 2 weeks. Been off the diet and drinks and supps pretty much just the odd Vit D and fish oil here and there.

I'm sick of swaying! It makes me depressed. Do you think I have a good enough chance at a boy if we tried again after giving up on swaying? I still think it is 50/50 LOL...

As for finances well trying to tell DH babies really don't need that much....

I would LOVE a boy, but I would gladly accept another daughter too. She would actually fit in better than a boy anyway really....
    Fathers Day baby!

Ttc5- sorry Hun, take care of yourself and fx you get the job, it sounds great!

I had my baby shower this weekend. It was fun to have everyone there and all that blue, almost makes me believe lol Oh and my sil didn't come, my mil layed some crap on dh about how she couldn't come because of her mom. I told dh to tell his mom how much it hurt my feelings she wouldn't come support me because of her mom. It's so not true, but if you are going to try and guilt us I'll throw it right back at ya.
    Love to see pics!!!

I think you are making a good decision, FWIW.
I really do feel you will have another naturally hun, I really do and not just saying that to make you feel better either..

    What is an integration aid?

I work mostly with special needs children - I love it! Alot of the children are fetal alcohol syndrome kids, it is heartbreaking

Have you packed on quite a few lbs since your last pre-pregnancy weight? If so....go for it TTC5!! There are so many opposites anyway....I don't see why you would have less of a chance getting your son. I still see you getting pregnant this year I just get this great BOY feeling for you, too~ Can't explain it....when you mentioned that you wouldn't be TTC anymore, it felt wrong!!! You'll make it work. Most people do. Breastfeed and cloth diaper....I'll send you a very large box of blue clothes from Canada xoxoxoxo

I'm so sorry! I should not be laughing at all!!! I do know exactly what you mean though....I'm 5'5" and weigh around 190lbs(Thank goodness I've only put 3lbs on so far, this pregnancy!). I was heavy with each of my pregnancies and although I was eating crappy food with this last BFP cycle, I was eating way less than when I got pregnant with my boys. Who knows....Like Begonia says...I think it's all a crap shoot anyway. I know that it's probably not the best timing for your family etc...but it's just that you seem to really want this baby, have thought about it and tried for some time now....I'm just really rooting for a BFP for you Hun Lots of Blue dust from me xoxo~~~~

Yep I so agree.... I think swaying really does more for our mind than it does increasing the chances really... I dunno just my thoughts after reading for over a year online... if it's another girl well so be it, can't be any worse off than we are already with 4 girls lol not saying it is bad but ykwim? A boy would just be a BIG suprise! I am kind of expecting another girl now anyway lol not sure if this is my defence mechanism kicking in to avoid GD (I will of course be a little upset I am only human lol) but I can now see that gender really is NOT important. A healthy baby is all I want and a safe delivery for me
