Meeks...I am feeling fine so far! Just tired. Never have had bad morning sickness...praying the same this time. How are you feeling? Morning sickness? Do you feel different this time?

I didn't sway with any of my boys. Only this time. How about you with your Ds's?

Question for all of you...was anyone offered the blood test at 12 weeks that can tell you gender? A local friend of mine said that two of her pregnant friends just found out at 12 weeks what they were having, that their doctors offered the bloodwork with their 12-week scan & screens. But, it doesn't seem to be the norm on this site. I probably won't see my doc till later in July, so I will ask her then, but was just curious if any of your docs offered it as standard screening?

I've heard of that test, it's valid from 6 or so weeks if I remember correctly, there used to be a thread on it, somewhere under old wives tales and symptom guessing...?? Apparently it's super super expensive ($200 from memory) but I never fact checked that in real life so may be wrong. I would do it if it was cheaper. I will ask too. I am in Australia and have never been offered or heard of it here until I read that thread.

Yep very different this time, but I'm not sure if that's more to do with spending over a year on LE diet or the actual pregnancy itself. Been VERY sick waking up at 3am spending 2 hrs trying to throw up in the toilet then only an hour sleep before the household wakes up. Last two times I was sick but not too bad at night. Protein is helping. I'm also showing already! Obviously it must be bloating but my tummy is out and my boobs are huge already. I couldn't do up my jacket it's that bad! And I've only gained 1.7kgs (which I basically gained in the 2ww knowing I was pg, after LE I think my body needed it).

I have also had cravings which I've never had before. Both the last two I wanted to eat more here and there, or maybe allowed a few extra treats but basically are healthy as normal and didn't really experience anything like cravings. Now I seriously can't stop eating and drinking dairy. Milk, cheese, yoghurt, sour cream you name it. I'm not above eating it straight from the jar either. It's ridiculous! I can't stop. However then I've also gone off some foods and can't find much I feel like eating when it's time for a meal.

I totally don't believe that different cravings have anything to do with what gender bubs is, but since that works in the way I want, I'm going to make an exception and go with it. That definitely means we are having girls, Lol!!! Oooh fx fx fx.

I truly couldn't tell from your scan so I think you have a great shot.

I'm in Aus too (VIC) where are you? I keep hoping to meet someone nearby on here one day!!

When I was pregnant with my three girls I craved milk I would eat two bowls of cereal in the morning and like two glasses of milk at night.

I know you don't take any stock in cravings and gender but I craved milk with ds2. I couldn't start the day without downing a pint of milk! He hates it btw....oops!

I can't really say I ever crave during pregnancy.. however, with both DS's I was pregnant when Cinnamon Heart candies were still in stores from Valentines day and I ate ridiculous amounts of them. This pregnancy all I want is poutine - I'm from Canada, so if you have no idea what that is it's french fries with gravy and cheese curds - probably sounds nasty but OH MAN, I could seriously eat one a day and don't stop whining to hubby about wanting one almost daily. My two boy pregnancies were so different is so many ways that I don't ever get my hopes up on a new or different symptom this time around.. I think for me, it's just pregnancy dependent.. nothing to do with gender! We can all hope though right!

Exactly right ladies. I tend to think its each child having a different taste and need, rather than gender. I find it odd I've never had cravings before and do now. But I would imagine that's coming off LE diet making me crave what I need.

Fun to hear about all your cravings! With DS1, I craved chocolate-dipped oreos, terra chips, & full-fat salad dressing! I'm guessing from those cravings I must have needed some fat. With him, I had aversions to my normal fibery cereal (such as raisin bran, shredded wheat, etc.) & occasionally salad would turn my stomach.

With DS2, I craved fruit! Any fruit, I could eat bowls and bowls of it! I was pretty nauseous in general with him, but don't remember specific foods that bothered me.

With DS3, I didn't crave anything or have aversions...I remember telling people that he already loves his mama so much, he's so easy!

So far with this one, I hadn't had any nausea until today when I ate my lunch. It wasn't awful, just notable. So far, no cravings, just starving! My only other symptoms are sore boobs, tiredness, and an occasional mild cramp (I had pretty strong cramps around BFP with my other 3).
