The thing is i remember that test being done around the time you were having fun with your girlfriends, drinking wine etc and taking the stress off. i think you were gearing up to O because you were finally relaxing but then started stressing about it again right after you got the almost positive and thats why it dropped off.

Robin lemme see the test! the thing about FRER and clearblue digital weeks estimator is they pick up HCG before a doctors blood work will confirm pregnancy..you have to have at least 11-12 i think for the blood test to be positive? frer and CBDWE can pick up levels of 6-10

ETA: Robin - Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG) - hCG Levels
"An hCG level of less than 5mIU/ml is considered negative for pregnancy, and anything above 25mIU/ml is considered positive for pregnancy." so depending on the doctor, lab etc even if you had elevated levels they may not say you are pregnant unless it hits 25 or more...my RE was this way...she said my level was just barely positive at 25...which is silly because THIS time i knew i was pregnant with levels alot lower. I think they do this so that the women who may have chemicals etc dont feel disappionted if they are told they are pregnant and then still have a period just a bit late
But the blood test is always more accurate, though. An FRER can't tell you what your level is, or whether a shadow of a line is a real line or evap/indent. I get what you're saying, that some doctors will consider a low HCG number to be "negative", but in my experience a competent doctor who knows you're only at 11dpo would ask you to come in for a serial draw if there was any HCG at all. In that situation, I would think that "negative" means zero HCG, and the FRER line must've been an evap/intent/false positive.

Robin, I'm not trying to be discouraging at all and of course there is still a chance you're pregnant with a later implantation that hasn't produced HCG yet, but I wouldn't trust any HPT over a blood test. Can you ask the clinic to confirm whether your "negative" blood test was zero HCG or something else?

WHERE IS THIS INDENT LINE YOU SPEAK OF?

I'm gonna pull it apart. I shall return. I really should find something to occupy myself with. -___-

I am going to call back tomorrow. I her what you're saying yes but the way they do it.. is the get a nurse to call you back. They had no idea I was only 11dpo bc no one asked me. My Dr doesn't look at the results just nurses... it's kind of confusing really..

Oh you mean the plastic film indentation? Yeah I dunno why they put t hat there >_>

I pulled it apart and flipped it over so no plastic film. Negative, ghost rider. I WANT to see something, so if I zoom in enough, I see forming pixels where the line should go. I'm a photographer so I have a very very good eye for that kinda stuff lol. I wish I had a macro lens and all of my equipment (recently moved). But all I have is a phone and photoshop express LOL.

You definitely need to call back and see if there's numbers. I had assumed this was the case! :/

Erin- Then you completely ignored where I said my re's nurse flat out told me that at their office less than 25 would have had them telling me I wasn't pregnant. Im not saying this is the case with Robin but she is also not out yet until they tell her zero hcg in the blood. None of us have seen the pee tests.. if she posted them and there was an obvious line but the blood said not pregnant would you really believe the blood? Especially with no numbers given.. a pregnancy test can have false positives but it's always for good reasons.. chemicals which don't result in viable pregnancy but still have hcg in pee, early miscarriages, medications and injectables, all give false positives on tests yes but you will never get a false positive 'just because'... if there is a line on a test there is hcg in your system. Wether it results in a viable pregnancy is another story.

Any way you can post any of the tests Robin?
