hi all well my tests with frer were negative all night even though they had been postive in the morning yesterday nad dinner time, so i got up and took another this morning nearly positive again, took one at dinner def positive again so took a clear blue digi and a ........ SMILEY YAY !!!!

so im hoping this is it this time as i didnt get a smiley yesterday, i sooooooooo hope it is, still no mucus very dry this month, and still no O pains ive had a couple of small twinges but thats it, do people get smileys and still not ovulate ???

it's possible to get a pos OPK and then not ovulate... but most women will OV after the pos OPK. That's why temping can be so useful as then you can prove that you did (or not)

well im temping and my temp hasnt dipped as yet, its the same as it was yesterday, what do you think happened do you think i tried to O yesterday but my body failed and is today or do you think thats a load o rubbish lol,

your body doesn't OV on the day of the pos OPK normally - it's 12-48hrs later so you might not even OV until tomorrow or the day after... but perhaps tomorrow you'll see a lovely big temp rise and OV will have been today!

i was aiming for a 0+12 though and dont know when to go by todays digital smiley opk or yesterdays frer, but then after 2 positive frers yesterday i got 2 negatives at tea time and night time ?

ahh ok, I haven't heard of those ones before

go by your first positive, whichever brand that was. You don't want to BD too late and miss the egg completely or you'll have just completely wasted the cycle and all your hard work. There are worse things than BDing right on OV itself, and personally I don't believe it sways either way to BD then! You'll have already done the hard work with the diet and the lowering (and/or clomid), you need to get a BFP to get a chance of pink
