Uk SMOG Wannabes ~ February

hiya girls!

been busy making an outfit for ds1 for todays world book day! his class had to dress up in something spacey and i never had time to order him a suit off the net and get it in time so decided to make him one! It ended up look pretty good and i was quite pleased with myself! He went as an Astronaut. I bought him a disposable white overall you can buy when you are painting etc and added logos i printed off, then made a helmet from a paper mache ballon and sprayed it white and again added some printed off logo's. Then made a jetpack out of 2 pop bottles and covered them both in tin foil and added more logo's. All his teacher were well impressed with the effort we had gone to as many of the kids were still in there school uniform and there parents had either forgotten or hadnt bothered! will post a pic if i can as i havent managed to take a pic of him this morning so hoping he comes home and his outfit is still in one peice so i can take some photos. DS2 went in a woody outfit that i had got from Argos as i didnt think id be able to make 2 outfits in the time i had!

Zanacal - hope you little boy got to go to school today and wasnt too ill..

Sunset - i bet that old woman didnt think that of her own daughter when she was pushing her round in a pushchair!

Charlie - i hope you're ok. i know exactly how you feel about taking time out.. sometime you need to stay away from this site just to be able to gather your own thoughts instead of constantly thinking about it. You take as much time as you need and remember were always here when you feel ur ready!

just wondering... has anybody else had an anterior plancenta? im 16 weeks tomorrow and havent felt the baby move at all yet which i know is perfectly normal when you have an anterior placenta but was just wondering when you start to feel them. i carnt honestly remeber when i started to feel both ds1 and ds2 but i know it was early and earlier still with ds2.

Inglewood I amworried my waters will go in public but they have only gone during labour before. I wonder how much of my sons outfit he has lost at school. It gets so expensive so he he is always a variation on a knight! Tudor knight, famous person from history - St George, world book day - Tom from beast quest! I am so un creative :-) the spaceman sounds amazing! If it was made by me he would be mistaken for a microwave....

Hi ladies

Sorry i am just not strong enough to come online at the moment, am not even on FB either i just cant face it. Its gone past the tears now and I am so low I have suffered with severe depression in the past and at the moment feel as though it may not pass for a while. I dont even think about the baby i am having i dont even notice whether it moves along with this the terrible guilt as its no fault of the baby its mine I shouldnt have let myself get in this situation again, I swore I wouldnt after ds3. I had a consultant appointment this week I thought due to my previous high risk babies but apparently it was for my reoccuring PND whether anyone can help me I dont know they seem to be trying....I just wish I had thought this through better.

Sorry for the me post I will try and come back at some point although when that will be I dont know x

I've had anterior placenta twice... with ds2 i felt kicks quite early on actually.. about 16 weeks but with dd i started to feel the odd one at around 17 weeks but nothing 'regular' until after 20 weeks.
