at what age will you stop having kids (or did you)?

Hi I had my 1st at 32 then second daughter at 34 , Iam currently pregnant with no 3 @ 41 and plan to go maybe 1 more see how I go with this one.

I swore I would be done having kids by 30. I was...I had DD#5 at just turned 29. But now I want just one more and I will be 34 next week!! So I want my final child before I turn 35!!

I don't have a top-age, I guess it comes down to finances. If we're older and we can afford another, we'll go for it!

i had my first at 25 and always said id love a big family, im the eldest of a family of 10 kids , my baby sister is only 13! my eldest is 11 so they are more like siblings than nephew and aunt ! im 37 now and have 4 boys with what is starting to look like my first girl due in january 12! so ill be 37 with 5 and i might be tempted to trying one more time after this ( but im not sure if my other half would be as willing ! ) mmmmmmm we'll see !

I'm 33. We will go until we're done, which isn't much longer. DH says 4 is the limit, so only 1 more. BUT he did say that if he writes a best seller we could have more kids. LOL Honestly, though, I don't think I can last much longer. I'm feeling old and tired already. But maybe that's because I have 3 energetic boys.

I'm currently 36, I had my first DS at 21, second DS (different Dad) at 30, and my 3rd DS at 31....My husband and I are thinking about trying one last time to see if we can have a DD....Here's to hoping! (I turn 37 this year...)

My number 6 will be born just before I turn 33 (or maybe even on my birthday).
I am so done havind children! Just want to enjoy life without all the pregnancy and newborn issues.

For as long as you can plan things like this, i expect to get my third when i am 31 and it depends on my DH and the gender of the next one if we gonna try for a fourth 1,5 year after the birth of dc3, although i've always wanted 4 kids. So am prob done n my 33 or 34, but never say never....

Whats the saying?..."life happens when you are busy making plans". I thought 40 was my cut off. But in this journey over the last 4 years or so I stopped caring about the number except in the context of fertility and a healthy baby. This little one will be due a few days after my 41st b-day. We are done now, didn't think it would be stretched out this long but we are happy to be able to experience this again. It wasn't until it became more real that the choice gets taken out of your hands at some point whether you are ready or not that the life plan timelines didn't matter quite as much anymore.

When we first started talking about having kids (we were 23), I said absolutely none after 30. Now that I'm 30 and we want a whole house-full of kids, the cutoff is 40-43 depending on how the pregnancies go as I get older and on whether we have any more losses. We want 6ish spaced ~3 years apart and then after we're done making biological babies, we'll adopt 2-4 more.
