I just looked at the new posts today & there's a lot of preg girl mommies, what's happened to us? There's not been any bfp for a while on here, we need some luck around here

Oh boo, Babydes....well, let's still keep our FX, you never know. It IS depressing how badly team blue is doing here.....someone does need to come up with a bfp soon indeed.

Begonia, my DH hasn't done his test yet, mostly because he's been out of town working for like 2 weeks. I need to do my blood tests also (for clotting factors), and will probably do all this week. Since I took this fert test though, I have a bad sinking feeling that it is my fault, that I have a bunch of rotten eggs in there that keep making aneuploidy babies (chomosomally abnormal....can you tell I've been researching all day?). I'm back on the DHEA starting tonight. I feel like it's the only thing I can do at this point. I mean, I took one of those tests about 6 months ago and it was FINE, and now, it's a bad result, so either my eggs are going to hell in a handbasket OR....maybe....it is residual from the m/c like Babydes noted in my help post. Either way I'm freaked out about it and clearly something is wrong if I make 2 bunk embryos in a row.

Spicy, don't stress about it, hun, just relax and take care of yourself. NO sense in stressing about your sway in the 2ww....what is done is done....take it from an old-timer.

Btw, Tink, your story about the proud DH cracked me up. Sounds like he will be on board with some man-swaying, which is nice for you!!!! Some of 'em are not at all, but...it is more the lady, I believe. Give him a big thumbs up from the boards.

thanks LolaInLove, He is all into actually, He really wants a boy. He even said he would quit smoking everything! YAY! About time!

So AF is gone, do you think its too early to test my Cm, and is this something i should to every day till i ovulate to get an idea where i am till i start the boy diet? That's what I had read? What is your advice?

Tink, you can do that, but the cm that really matters is going to be closer to when you ovulate, so you don't necessarily need to start now (if you are like CD 5 or 6 now). I never have any till around day 10-12 anyway! The most important cm is the ewcm when you O....so test that out. In fact, I has some experiments with testing where I would test the ewcm and then have an orgasm in a few hours and test that cm also (I am talking solo here, no outside factors to corrode my ph test!) and see what that ph was (it was higher indeed). But remember, if you are going to do the eggwhites or preseed when you attempt, you don't have to worry about your natural cm as much since you will be supplementing it with high ph stuff. OR if your natural cm has a high ph, you won't even need the ew or preseed. I would consider using some, though. Have you started any supps or anything?

Oh thanks. Is it true to test you natural CM first to see where you "stand" then when you start all diet and supplements test that as well? or will I be wasting my time and I should just focus on my ovulation and getting that down to the T?

For sure, go ahead and test it now and see how it rises. You might need to try several things to see what really helps up your ph....for some it's the drinks (and specific ones) and some the supps help. I'm kinda past worrying about ph and all, but when I started swaying, mine was most affected by the drinks, and I highly recommend doing the apple cider vinegar (ACV- buy Bragg's or another similar drinking kind in a health food store), the ural (see Atomic's recipe in the Sticky section), and I would definitely do lemon water as much as possible (put Stevia or Truvia in it if you can't deal with a little sour...those are very alkaline), and green tea for sure. I used to make a green tea/lemon water mixture to kill 2 birds with one stone.

I would start those about 6 weeks (and diet) before your first attempt. I know you don't want to go overboard with the weight gain (and I highly recommend NOT doing so), so try 6 weeks first. It's not that bad. I wouldn't worry about having some chocolate and coffee and red wine....those things all have some beneficial nutrients in them that are good in moderation, of course. On IG, if you remember, it was much more restrictive and I just hated feeling like I was failing if I had some cheese, etc. I like this approach to high nutrient everything much better. But seriously, don't freak too much about the ph....your hub's is good, and if you do the diet and some supps, you will have an increase in ph.....plus, you will be adding in the ew or preseed, giving those sperm a high-ph ride all the way to your egg.

That would be my advice! Check out all of the sways (the successful ones mostly!) and see what supps they did. You will notice that everyone did something different....you don't need to do EVERYTHING in order to have a boy.....so do the things that work for you and don't make you sick or have the runs or worst of all- NOT get pg!!! Hope that helps, hun!

Babydes thanks for the opinion re: the timing! I tend to lean that way, the once on O day, since this is our 1st month to try I'm not totally over it yet... though I am getting totally over the diet since I've pretty much been doing that for endless months. If we don't get pg this month though we might just wait til fall after all. Who knows. One month at a time right now.

If AF would ever show up. WTH! I am so annoyed. I started spotting on Saturday (but I have very little spotting, like 1x a day) so am expecting it any day now. Usually no more than 3 days of spotting so if I don't start today I'll be surprised.

Tink LOL about your DH! And FWIW I think Lola gave you some great advice there.

Lola I think that is a good point re: the test results maybe being skewed due to the m/c. Aaarrgh. I wish it wasn't so hard for you I'm really hoping the time off and the anti-ox supps will do the trick for you.

Also, I use paper pH paper- so parts of it (where the water from the ewcm absorbs) was 7- but other parts were 6, so I don't think I was a super strong 7- but this was without bsf.

I liked bsf last month, but this month, not so much. My eggwhites were a 9 though.
I think this is happening to me too with the bsf!!
