ITA with all of this 100%. Keep us posted Jane! Timing gets beat into our heads (well, not so much here, but y'know...) and I think from Shettles, etc people have it as a sacred swaying cow that can't be touched. The ONLY thing I would ever consider with timing is if you know what you did to TTC your girls, maybe don't do that again, since maybe for you personally that pattern sways girl. That said while neither of my girls were planned I'm 98% sure their BD patterns were totally different, so I didn't feel like timing was a huge part of my getting girls. Diet, diet, diet, I think!
Have a lovely time Lola!
Thanks for the tip about protein Iluv! I thought of you this am as I was sipping a (decaf) frapp. But then it got too sweet and I had to toss 1/2. I hate the weird things pg does taste-wise. I told my oldest, dearest friend this weekend since I got to see her (she has had 4 kiddos, though her youngest passed away earlier this year) and we were laughing about all the crazy things pg will make you eat. She loved those Totino's pizza rolls with her 1st pg and was telling me about them, and now I can't get them out of my mind, LOL. I'm so glad your docs are taking good care of you and getting you in early and often. Are you feeling OK physically so far, or any signs of sickness creeping in?Interesting about the hormone levels; I knew a bit about it but not that much, so that was really interesting. I'm curious to know mine.
Layla the discharge was a definite sign for me of this pg. I still have it. I tend to get some, even still EW, in the day or two after O. But it just kept coming in my 2WW. I'm SO ready for it to stop, LOL! I hope it is a sign for you too!
Daisy FWIW I got my BFP 10DPO but only on a FRER. I tried taking the digi at 11 DPO and it came up negative ... I was taking it to show DH and he was like, see?!?! You're not pg!! The digi only came up for me as positive at 12 DPO, with FMU. So you're not out for sure IMO! Happy bday to your DH!

still not had a smiley yet and ive been testing for 4 days!!
today im feeling like i have some ewcm though.
i did a fmu test(which i think is ok with clearblue) but nothing.
i think i will test every 4 hours today but go ahead and dtd later on cos it will be 5 days tonight since dh released.
i know when we had our dds, we were dtd all the time so im trying this way to see if it helps. this is so annoying, i dont know how im gonna do this over and over like some have to, i really feel for those who keep trying every month. had my breakfast this morning or should i say ive forced food down me at an unearthly hour
oh well, ive had my grumble, sorry to be so depressing x

Daisy I really don't think you are out yet. It depends on the hcg levels for some people they start off slow and then they increase rapidly others are higher to start off with and then just follow the slower pattern in iluv's stats.
Begonia I do hope you are right. If I am pg then I will have you and iluv to thank for it the most for guiding me through the opk testing and replying to me so quickly.
Jane I know how you feel I found the whole when to dtd and when to release so stressful. I think if I am pregnant we may have gone a bit too early but with 48hr release so will see.
I keep thinking I will be better off with another girl. I really have an attitude of girls are better than boys for mum anyway. Do you know that saying: "A son is a son until he obtains a wife a daughter is a daughter for life." Don't you all think it is true? That is why I always feel so sorry for mums with no girls and really wish for them from the bottom of my heart, that they get at least one girl. But other people feel sorry for me for not having a boy. Boy mums with mixed gender kids always agree that the saying is true but they say that boys are really good for mums until they obtain their wife. They adore their mums unequivically, while girls tend to be more judgmental. They keep mum grounded that is for sure.
Anywho enough of my philosopying for this week I think must go and get myself distracted...

Hey ttc boy friends, I haven't been on here in a while, but here's a little update. We have been staying on the diet for four months now, and every time it's 'the night' either my hubs is gone, or we get a bfn. My temps are nuts, so it's hard to know for sure. I got an OPK + at CD 16 but had clear cm for three days so I don't know. I never have a 'real' positive on anything except the digital. Does anyone use a fertility monitor? With my DD2, I got the OPK+ and bd'd 12 hours later so I'm really having to trust that God will fulfill the desire he's placed into DH's heart. He's always wanted a boy. We discussed IVF today, and just can't bring ourselves to spend that kind of ca$h...yet.
