Meeks- you could have low sugar levels making you dizzy which happens from time to time but sometimes flashing lights in your vision can be related to high blood pressure especially when pregnant. I had PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension) with both of the boys. Usually the flashing lights don't happen until the third trimester but its something to think about when you see you dr next. Just to bring it to their attention. Don't want to scare you but high blood pressure in pregnancy is not something to blow off. So just pay attention to it and see if it happens daily and note it to your doctor. Otherwise it could have just been a fluke and nothing more. Being preggo as you know is always making crazy things happen that we always want an answer for. I know I always do. Feel better!

Meeks - I agree, just pay attention if it continues. I would call my doc right away if it happens again, and if not, just mention it at next appt. if still worried.
Ladybugs - Sorry about the spotting! That can never be fun to see, even after you're feeling movement. But I agree...my doc has always said if blood is less than what fills a pad, as long as there's no cramping, it's probably nothing.
Soar - Due Feb. 26th...I am still super early in the game. Trying to be patient! Should get my beta results back tomorrow.
GeCon - Yes, I would totally delay the scan! All the better for nubsessing. Lol!
Everyone else, hi!
AFM - Didn't have MS today, but literally in the last 5 minutes, my stomach has started feeling yuck. Could have been something I ate, I guess! Tired today, cranky too, and sore boobs. Looking forward to hearing my beta results tomorrow!

Meeks are you ok!? It might have been a migraine as they can give you visual disturbance and aren't always painful. Prob worth mentioning to your doc, you don't want that to happen whilst your driving or something like that. Well, you don't want it to happen at all.
Ladies with the spotting, it's so nerve wracking! I had a bit this time and with ds2, I got in for early scans though. Hopefully it will stop soon. Kinda just sounds like that's your bodies way.
As for the cm, I have loads!! As you may recall from the 'am I peeing myself/are my waters leaking dilemma. :-) I had a lot with ds1 & 2 but def more this time I'd say.
I'm 15 weeks now and still weeing loads in the night!?? And still sooooo tired!!! Ahhhh!

Lol tree yes I remember that debate ;-)
I'm ok now, thankfully mum is visiting for the last time before she's moving across the country and I won't see her until Christmas so I used her and had a nap. Actually, CHARLEE I have to say, after laughing (with you) at your falling asleep at work thing, I now understand, the last 3 days I've dozed off at home in the afternoon! Thankfully mum is here because with my 2 and 4 year old boys that is NOT safe to do. I didn't realise the tired would start so early! I remember it from ds1 and 2 but in my head when I remember its in the last trimester. All I remember from the start is being sick all the time.
One thing that's different for me now is I'm not (yet) grumpy. I think it's because I tried so hard and so long to get pg this time where the first two times were super fast (1 on the pill and the other the first month off it). This time after soooo long ttc and so many chemicals I am really appreciative of it even when I feel like death (frequently). Perhaps this was the journey I needed to go on to have more understanding about what others go through and the day to day reality of that.
I still have a cracking headache so I'm thinking it was a migraine starting (never had one before). Hope it doesn't happen again but I will mention to the ob just in case. It is concerning that nobody has taken my blood pressure at all yet. I remember the gp doing that last time when confirming bfp. But pre eclampsia usually only happens after 20 weeks so I doubt it's that. I will call my ob if it happens again just to be sure. Might ask my fertility specialist when I have my scan next Tuesday as well.
I am somewhat irrationally scared of ectopic. I'm terrified of finding out on Tuesday that all this has been for nothing, and they will tell me it has to be taken out then I loose out on another dream. I don't know why I'm so scared of this, it's not common and I have no history or symptoms of one, but I think I feel it's too good to be true, you know?DS1 2009, DS2 2011.

It's totally natural to feel cautious and nervous following a loss or losses. I'm sure everything is fine though! Not long now until you can have a bit of reassurance.

Meeks, <<HUGS>> that's exactly how I've been feeling this whole pg despite having no past history to justify those feelings. I think it's just from trying sooo long and it taking over your life for over a year. I find it hard to be positive at the moment as I had 18 months of constant disappointment before my bfp and it's rubbed off on me. Even yesterday when my gp was trying to find the heartbeat, it was going through my mind that it was still too good to be true. Urgh. It must be a self-preservation thing.
As for the headaches, they sound horrid. Definitely tell your ob when you see him. I had headaches this time too, but nothing like you've described. You're right PET only comes on after 20 weeks but it is very rare for it to come on that early. It is believed to be a fault with how the placenta has implanted so that's why you won't get it in the first trimester. That's also why I'm on daily low-dose aspirin to help the implantation and keep the blood flowing well. It's only effective for those who've suffered from it before 32 weeks but they're not sure why. Still it got ds2 to full-term and hopefully this one too.

15 weeks and not felt baby move. Pretty sure it wasn't until about 18 weeks I felt them before.

My girlfriend who is ahead of me only felt hers move at 18 weeks and even then only a flutter here and there. I just think everything is different for everyone. Apparently having a placenta on the front can cause the difficulty feeling and hearing heartbeat and movements.
I would make an appt to check though, just to be sure the hb is there this time.DS1 2009, DS2 2011.

Dream our journeys have been so similar I feel like you really get it. I have had no previous losses before ttc #3 so I don't really have much reason to feel this way 6 weeks in (the chemicals never even made it much past my period due date) but I do feel like you said, it's been so hard I'm terrified to have to start again. Plus, to be honest, I am SO much nicer to be around when I'm not dieting. In fact, I think I may gain more this pregnancy than ever before because I started out 4kg less than my prior conception weight I think in some way my body is trying to make up for it. I don't seem to want much during the day, and can't stomach a large breakfast or lunch but have been having two servings of dinner! Not normal for me at all. Before LE I used to snack small healthy all the time, but never two serves of dinner!
I am also deathly thirsty all the time!
This week is going to be so long!! Is it next Tuesday yet??
