So you think I should just continue to eat as I am and not decrease/make things even more simplistic (i.e. take out any veg or creme fraiche, etcetera)?

I was planning to wait until I got a +OPK, then dtd that day and the next, knowing I usually O the day after my +OPK. Instead, because of my planned Christmas trip, I panicked and was worried that I wouldn't get the chance to dtd once we were at my ILs, so when my OPKs started getting darker, we started to dtd. O came late, so we kept going until my temp rose. Part of my problem was that the month before, immediately after my m/c, I O'd without ever getting a +OPK (and I was taking them 2-3 times a day), so I was worried I'd miss my surge. Personally, I'd rather get pregnant with an impertfect sway than miss a whole month because of confusing OPKs, but I've been at this TTC business for a while now, and the m/c made me want to be pregnant again ASAP. I had diet, weight loss, Vitex, antihistamines, Baby Aspirin, FR and some Rephresh in my favour (+ I O'd on the night of a new moon - I don't believe in that stuff, but I know a lot of other people do, so it's worth mentioned), so hopefully all that was enough. I'm 37, so I may have needed all those attempts just to get pregnant with all the other stuff I was doing!

pinkin hun you may have caught that egg (even if it hasnt hatched yet lol) with your attempt last night, its up to you whether you want to dtd again hun, but if you will really regret it if you did get pregnant with a little blue bundle of joy then i would maybe just stick to the one attempt, just my opinion tho hun,

pinkin - I would honestly just relax and wait now if you only wanted one attempt. What's happened to you is exactly the same as what happened to me the month we conceived - I always had 2 days of OPKs but that month I only had 1! I got a positive at about 4pm, we DTD next day at about 6am and next time I tested at 1pm it was negative and same again that evening. Even if you haven't ovulated yet you're surely going to have a pretty close cut-off with the O pains, EWCM and probable surge you had yesterday anyway. All the worrying and driving to other towns for tests is more likely to delay O if it hasn't already happened and also raise testosterone!
