At 10dpo would a FRER be accurate with FMU? .... Or should I just wait until 14dpo. I need to stop w all the false testing lol.

Lauren, the problem with testing at 10dpo is that you might have just implanted so the hcg wouldn't be enough to show up on a test.
Yes, two. I have spotted and still been pregnant but I am having a lot of cramps. I won't be surprised if af is in full swing tomorrow. :/

I would be confident with a FRER at 10dpo for sure
It's not 100% but much much much better than 7/8/9 dpo !!

Sorry to hear Magical and Momamia
.
So I have a bit of a dilemma and could use some opinions. I'm supposed to be ovulating this weekend so DH and I just had sex for fun this past Sunday (unprotected) as I figured it was far enough away to affect our one attempt near o. Well it's looking like I'm going to ovulate early! I've been getting a lot of watery cm the last 3 days and My opk was an almost positive line this morning so I suspect a positive one by tonight or tomorrow morning..
I did use RePhresh on Monday in case that would help my cause lol.
So question is: if I get a positive opk tonight or tomorrow.. Should I bd tomorrow night as my one attempt or is that too risky sway wise and in that case just hope our non attempt on Sunday was good enough?
If I should attempt at positive opk - should I use an antihistamine or jump and dump?
When I say "should I" I mean, what would you do lol
Thanks in advance for any feedback!

The answer to that is dependant on the situation. You always want to use the one closer to your normal temp time if you can... here comes the BIG BUT
Over and above the temp closest to time, you want to use the most accurate (just waking, not moving around, etc.).
Here is a scenario for you. If you have 2 temps and say one is at 3 am and one is at 6 am. You took your temp at both times. The 3 am one was taken upon just waking, preferably after 3 hours of sleep but I personally have not found that less sleep necessarily disturbs a temp... up to a point that is, it maybe knocks it off by a couple 100ths of a degree but it is the 10ths of a degree that make a big impact. Your 6 am temp is your normal temp time, but you either couldn't get back to sleep or you weren't asleep very long at all... and maybe your mouth was open to aggravate matters even worse. In this scenario, the 3 am temps if over an above the most accurate of the 2.
Scenario #2: Lets use the same times and same info for the 3 am temp but this time you take your second temp at 6 or much closer to 6. This time you were able to get back to sleep pretty quick, and to throw a kink in the chain then lets say your mouth was open. This one is tricky, because of the mouth being open BUT I would likely still trust the 6 am temp.
In either case always make note of both temps for later reference. So, all that explained, in your case... I agree with using the 5 am temp in both cases. 45-60 mins just isn't long enough span of sleep.... esp if your mouth was open for the second temp.
There is a method. I don't generally use it because, for me, it only makes my chart more confusing, not less and I have sleep issues so nearly every temp I take is affected by either not enough sleep, like this morning, waking too early or too late, etc. I'll explain it but I'll do so AFTER cautioning you to consider the impact on your chart. Personally I'd rather disturb a temp than adjust it but that is a decision you'll have to make for yourself. The author of Taking Charge of Your Fertility (i.e. the #1 book detailing the mechanics, process, rules, etc. associated with charting) has a method of temp adjustment. Essentially it involves adjusting your temp (there is a link to do this if you don't want to figure it out for yourself on FF under the "data" tab at the top) by so much based on how off the temp was taken time wise. According to this method you can adjust a temp taken up to 2 hours from your usual temp time. To do this you would either add or subtract 0.1 degrees (add if taken too early, subtract if taken too late) for every 1/2 hour of time discrepancy. I am used to Fahrenheit so I'll use that for my examples... If your normal temp time is 6 o'clock and you took your temp at 5 am and it was 97.73 you would add 0.2 degrees making your new temp 97.93 (as you can see this makes a HUGE impact... which is why I am not a fan of it). If your temp was taken at 7 am and is 97.84 you would subtract 0.2 making your new temp 97.64. Again, it is up to you, but I strongly caution you.
Do you remember what the situation was that made CD 6 a clear circle?Last edited by twointow83; July 14th, 2015 at 08:04 PM.

Personally I have always started testing at 10 DPO.. or sooner, lol, and often gotten a + then (shorter LP... might make a difference). BUT I am a POAS addict and a bit of a POAS pusher, lol
If you have cheapy tests or lots of tests I day go for 10 DPO but I know those FRER boogers can add up quick so if you only have a few I'd probably wait until at least 11 DPO just to give your body a little extra time for the HCG to rise.
