I knew what you meant momma! I just thought I'd throw out the fact that being pregnant trumped any specific gender [emoji1]
Two, im trying to figure out how the tests all work. What if it's b/g twins for instance. I do have a secret desire for twinsI know they look for the y, so I guess if there is any Y you have to wait for ultrasound to be sure?
Magical that's exactly our plan. I really hope I can hide the belly that long - I tend to get big fast lol
Pbn - for what it's worth I feel ANCIENT today lol
Two so wicked you got your temp rise! And yes! Wake up everyone!!! Lol!!!

Yes, seeing a Y cell definitely would make it easier to distinguish from momma's cells. My guess is that they do like they do if forensics (where they can manage to find a single drop of the perps blood hidden in the victims) and take a sample, spin the whole sample down and look for varying DNA. I am no expert at this but that is my guess.

Thanks, Two! I'll take everything crossed! Now though I probably will have to toss and turn again all night...just so anxious!
True - you can't really see the line very well in the attachment, but on my phone I see it clearly! Soooo...hanging on to hope!

For twins the MaterniT21 test can differentiate the difference. It will come back Y detected without a percentage and the doctor will request more testing. I've had some friends get told there was a likelihood of B/G twins and it was confirmed later.
That is why I chose that test. Harmony can detect that too at a lower %. Verify cannot and neither can Panorama.

Ugghh I wish my temps would go up a bit, I'm on CD11 and I never have this many low temps in a row. I have a feeling I will be O'ing later this cycle.
I am 38(39 in 2 months) and Dh is 37. I got pregnant with DD1 at 36 and had her when I was 37. Hoping at this point just to get pregnant again, was swaying for a boy but I would be happy with either for #2. DH wants another just as much, he gets disappointed every BFN cycle too which I think makes me feel even worse when it doesn't happen.
I had the genetic testing done with DD#1 at 10 weeks, it was great knowing it was a girl at 11 weeks since I really thought I would be having a boy. It took a day to wrap my head around having a girl but can't imagine not having a girl now, I have embraced the pink!. I believe when I had testing done they said if it is twins they can only look to see if there is a Y chromosome and would have to wait for ultrasound to verify if it was 1 or 2 boys.
Fingers crossed for you Taytum

I had the same issue last cycle. Between nerves and needing to go but refusing to so I could test in the AM I got like zero sleep! It was not fun!Our family is complete
