Just when I'm feeling better for a few days, I take my prenatals and instantly feel so nauseated. I broke down and ordered the sugary gummies. I can't stand the smell and they make me gag. Ugh. This was the same problem I had last pregnancy.
Anyhoo, this week he been much better. Still exhausted and not able to eat lots of things, but compared to the last 3 it's been a walk in the park. Cheers to 12 weeks coming up in April!
How's everyone else coming along?

Just when I thought the sickness was easing up I had a terrible day Yst where I couldn't function Properly, so sick and headache all day! Asleep by 8 last night a full 12 hours and I'm still tired today ... just not normal!!! Only consolation is I'm nearing the 12 wk mark thank God... is it true the placenta takes over around the 10 week mark and instead of the embryo sac so I'm thinking this alone should start to make you feel better. Apart from this is can't get enough cherry tomatoes into me, ate a full punnet Yst and I've sent the hubby down to the shop to stock up 😀 .. how's everyone else doing xx

I'm so sorry that some of you are still feeling ick [emoji20]. It should let up some by the 12 week mark for the reason that Amelia stated. It may still linger but it shouldn't be as bad. I usually feel ick for about 2 hours in the evening/night that isn't near as bad as earlier. I sometimes feel ick off and on throughout the day, but I can eat. I just can't eat too much. If I eat more than 500 cal per meal, I get horrid nausea and can even puke still 🤢[emoji20]. It's not that bad as long as I stay in my limits [emoji23]!
I'm 12w1d today and have 5 days until my next scan!!!

We have our dating scan tomorrow! Can't wait to see the little bean again and I'm a better picture. Along with hearing how strong their heartbeat is. My midwife mentioned the options of genetic testing but that was all and continued on. I won't see her again until 12 weeks. Will it be too late for the harmony or matern1 or whatever it's called? I heard 10 weeks is the normal time to have it... excited for us all. We are getting there and should all be feeling so much better soon! I'd just like to have my house back to its normal self, and feel good enough to do more with the girls as the weather is getting nicer.

*sigh*
Pickles and pickle juice it is. I also had an actual meal today.... a gluten free, dairy free pizza. I ate the whole thing. In my defense, they are quite small.
I got some ginger extract and B6 and it seems to work okay with nausea, but food aversion is still there. I decided to just stop any starches as they are making me put on weight >_< so now I dunno what I'm gonna eat.
At night, I get sudden and intense chills. DH calls them "cold flashes" LOL, but for the most part I'm super cold all the time.
Looking forward to all the scan images and gender revealsAlso looking forward to feeling better in a few weeks!

You can have them at any point, my OB suggested getting one only if there were any abnormalities on the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. Unless of course you are in a high risk category, or have genetic concerns.
The earliest you can draw blood for the test is 9 weeks, but better for accuracy sake to wait till 10 weeks.
Most of the OBs I've talked to are very much trying to discourage the use of these tests as "gender tests" as the drive up health care costs and most people are getting them unnecessarily. But heck, I was tempted! But after he speech I got, I'll just wait for my free scan at 15 weeks. [emoji849]

I would rather see more people getting it covered, higher lab capacities, and more people being screened. When I conceived my first, I was in in the lowest possible risk group for a chromosomal abnormality and it happened anyways. Obviously that's a ways off still though.

Hello again everyone, I've been on here to reply so many times, but I always get stopped in the middle of it. Thank you to everyone who responded to me. I still have good days and bad. I did have my first doctors appointment and found out I will get to do the Harmony test next month, I am excited, but more nervous than anything and I will have my first ultrasound in about a week at 8 weeks pregnant. Hope everyone is well. I'm going to go read up so I know whats going on with everyone of you.
