I've started the day with a Double Decker (a chocolate candy bar) in the interest of eating differently to when I conceived my boys! I never ate chocolate/candy/sweets, other than a square or two of dark dark chocolate, so why not eh? I'd have always started the day with eggs and Rye/Spelt toast - so nutritious. I'm such a savoury girl that it tastes ludicrously sweet! :-)

Oh and thanks for the bagel thins idea. I've bought them for DS3 before as they're a much better size for his appetite. I'd not thought of the psychological impact for me in having a whole one at less cals. Good plan!

Not sure if I've already added this recipe idea, apologies if I'm duplicating, but it feels like a treat for me.
Veggie enchiladas
Ingredients:
Pack of Weight Watchers wraps or equivalent
Various vegetables (I use onions, garlic, peppers, courgettes and mushrooms)
Tin of chopped tomatoes
Spices (I used chili, cumin, oregano and paprika)
Grated cheese
Method:
Preheat oven. Fry finely diced onions and garlic gently in oil spray, adding a splash of water of needed, till softened. Add tin of tomatoes and spices and simmer until all combined. Leave to cool. Now chop your veg into chunks - onions, peppers etc and fry in oil spray and the spices until cooked but still with a bite to them. Take an oven dish and spray with oil spray. Put a spoon of the enchilada sauce in and spread over the bottom. Then take a wrap, put a spoonful of the cooked veg in the middle, a spoonful of the sauce and a little grated cheese. Wrap into a sausage shape and lay in your oven dish with the join at the bottom. Repeat with all wraps. Finally cover the whole lot with the rest of your sauce (any uncovered corners of wrap will get dry) and as much grated cheese as you think you can have within your totals! Bake till golden.
This is my new favourite dish. Low fat cheese won't melt as well as full fat so I tend to use less full fat cheese rather than using low fat cheese, and add a few dollops of mozzarella which isn't too fatty.
Oh and I have made it with a few beans in the veg mixture if I've planned appropriately for the extra protein.2009

This sounds lovely I've had old El Paso enchilada kits in the past when not on LE. These sound great! I had tonsillitis confirmed today so soft foods will help! Might get dh to whip some up.

Hi, joining in to record what Im eating and hopefully stay on track!
I had 1 teaspoon of decaf coffee, a teaspoon of options orange hot choc with a Splash of milk at 12, followed by 2 Tesco vegie grills, a side salad and about 4 sweet potato wedges. Then a muller light mango yoghurt with 2 strawberries chopped up. Did an hour at the gym and then made a home made soup but it was rubbish so I only ate half and chucked the rest, had a yoghurt and then a small bag of skinny popcorn. Quite under cals today but over indulged over Xmas so need a head start to weight loss. Planning on having 1 glass of wine later, becoming a bit of a habit having wine each night and then 2 glasses turn into 3 and a late night so trying to stick to just 1 glass.
I think tomorrow I plan to eat a ham salad for lunch, yoghurt and fruit. Then tea might have to be 2 vegie grills and baked beans with a tiny bits of cheese, side salad and then yoghurt and fruit. Cant exercise tomoz.
Hope you all have a good week :-)Last edited by chocolate; January 8th, 2017 at 02:42 PM.

Well done chocolate that looks like a good day !
Yes I've planned Tommorows meals already to help me stay on track - my attempt is only 10 days away so my hubby starts his abstaining this Wednesday it's all getting a bit real!
I can totally relate to having more and more wine - I actually really enjoy enjoy drinking wine (bit of a wino!) so sometimes find I'm the same I'm like whoops is that the bottle gone already?!
Back on one glass a night from tommorow couldn't drink wine today :-/

Ladies, I cannot keep up on the support threads. Please always start a new thread that I will see so I can reply to your questions. I don't like leaving questions unanswered!
LE Diet is NOT NO fat, no protein, no sugar, etc. It is not a starvation diet. It is simply the lower range of normal for a healthy pre-pregnancy diet. 1500-1800 cals a day, 40-50 g protein, 30-60 g fat. There are no forbidden foods, and low carb vegetables (like salads) are actually free and unlimited, have as much as you want, no need to count or track it. For higher carb veg (like potatoes) and fruit, you count only calories, not protein or fat. So you actually can eat quite a lot of food on LE Diet, it's completely in line with the recommendations of the World Health Organization about what a healthy pre-pregnancy diet for women of childbearing age looks like.!!!
