Iīm totally agree with meeks. I would be completely honest with your doctor. I think taking clomid without needed is "big words" inside swaying and should be taking under supervisition. Anyway, the more late on your cycle, the less possibilities of several eggs and more quality ones.

Just wanted you to know my expirience, months ago, I had 100% decided to go on clomid just for my sway (because I donīt need it) and I ask my doctor about taking it advance in my cycle to avoid several eggs (like starting on CD8 or so...) and although my doctor is being very cooperative with me and all my "sway staff" she was totally against me to take clomid outside of the "usual" dose and CD patterns because she told me they really DONT KNOW how the effects could be on me and even the baby if itīs taking outside of the typical pattern and dose, since clomid remain several weeks on bodyīs mum.

I donīt want nobody to misinterpret my words. I donīt want to alarm people or anything, because millions of women have taking and have perfect babies, and I think clomid is great to sway pink (we just have to look at stats) but Iīm not totally convince about taking it without need it, because it has some down sides -that perfectly could be because is usually taking by women with some fertility troubles (as atomic said once to me) to start with. But the fact is that we still donīt know if, for us -women who donīt need it, thus, women with a determinated hormonal situation and more, women that often are on a previous diet to sway pink that could have us inadvertently lack of certains nutrients or fats- will clomid affect in some way. There are some studies linking high T levels or low levels of cholesterol -clomid consequence- in the first weeks of embryo development and austism. Probably it is wrong, and thereīs not connection between them but I would like women (like me months ago) that were convinced to take it without need it because of our big desire, just to think it very well and if decide to take it, talk and be honest to your doctor about every aspect of it, like CD, dose... to avoid "experimental situations" with a sustance that have been designed to be taking on a very concrete way, and over all, that last on body for 6-8 weeks. Anyway is only a personal opinion, or my conclussion after got clomid and studied and talked about it about it with my doctor I decide not using it, despite I donīt know if I will ended with a boy, and I know, unfortunately, we all have risks when get pregnant, especially the older we are, or with practices like abstinence in older dads, and we all want a healthy baby over all, but just wanted to add my opinion, since I was one of the women on this forum that was very decided to use and changed my mind.

I completely agree. Clomid is no silver bullet.

We don't know if clomid sways or if it just looks that way since almost everyone that takes it has some issues with fertility. We don't have a breakdown of the stats for clomid that shows who (if anyone) took it for swaying and who took it for fertility issues.

The same with exercise. We don't know if those women had more weight to loose therefore exercise helped them loose faster and sway girl, or if they were already low BMI when starting exercise (which risks building muscle or demonising condition so far that you stop o).

I 100% won't mention clomid to the new dr., I will say that I been trying to get pregnant and I am not working and see what she says. I am also going to tell the RE that my period the past 2 months have now returned to a 28 day cycle, but my husband wanted to still try and it just isn't working on our own, so we will go ahead with clomid this month in May. I also am already planning on getting the clomid a day later from his office, so I won't pick it up until day 3. I will talk to him about the more follicles on day 3 then day 5 and get his take on it before I take clomid. I do understand that I am going to have symptoms that I am not going to like. I am going to go ahead with the clomid though. I guess sometimes in life, you need to go ahead with it and see what happens. If I am meant to have twins, then I will be happy. Your right, clomid is not a silver bullet and I may have a boy and I am 100% ok with that. I just don't want to look back in years from now, and was able to have my one and only chance and to know that I didn't at least try. Thank you for being honest with me, but I really want to do this. I will let you guys know what ends up happening. If i ended up with 2 boy twins, then that is what was meant to be and I will be ok with it. I love my son to pieces and sometimes I feel that I am so complete with just him in my life. I am having more because family is very important to me and I want him to share what I had. As, I already mentioned I have an identical twin so I know a lot what it was like for my mom to raise 2 and I know how special the relationship is. If I have twins, I am sure I will be very excited. Of course, ideally it will cost more money, but we would be very happy with either gender in the end. As I said I want to have no doubts and I am willing to deal with some bad side effects from the clomid to make it happen. If the side effects are really bad, I can always stop it right? How long do the side effects last after u take the clomid?

No worries, good luck I just wanted you to be as informed as possible before deciding.

You can't stop once you start, it's like antibiotics, you have to take the whole course (1 dose per day for 5 days) or it can have unknown and dangerous consequences. Confirm that with your dr though. If you had really bad side effects there may be something he can do or a recommendation to stop.

The side effects vary for everyone, some don't get many, others get lots.

I had very very severe mood swings the last day and a few days after the last pill. I had very severe tummy pains for the whole 5 days, and diarrhoea for 2 days. The mood swings lasted a few days after, but most people report just having symptoms during the pills.

That sounds awful. I do remember my friend telling me made her feel very moody and she hated it. It's best to take it at night right? How many months have u been tring with the clomid? We're u allowed to take any other meds to help with the pain?

This was my first cycle on clomid. I'be been TTC naturally for a year. Have also done 3 cycles on soy iso before this which has almost as good stats as clomid, but I used it to extend my luteal phase.

I suppose I could have taken meds but I didn't want them swaying blue so I just stuck it out. Not looking forward to next month if this one isn't successful!

My doc only wants me on 3 months of clomid max before we check some other things. 6 months is the max he would ever allow anyone to take it.

Some do, some don't. Antibiotics for example sway blue radically. Obviously baby aspirin is fine, because its a TTC girl med anyway. Just worth checking anything you put in your mouth. I was unsure about what I had in the cupboard and by the time I figured it out the pills were over. Also for a few days I just put up with it not even considering meds, lol (idiot!!). There is nothing you can take for mood swings so that was just grin and bear it!

Yep LE diet for just under a year now, I was TTC before LE for only a month or so, then discovered the site. I was pretty hardcore LE for first few months and did a few sways that would have been overkill but you never know what will work when you first start. I was on IG diet for a few months before that, thankfully I found this site as I believe in LE much more.

I am used to it and still learn things all the time. Almost glad I didn't conceive before this as a few months there I did things that wouldn't have been great sway wise. Took a while to master the diet and the stats spreadsheet only just got good recently (not it has enough sways to mean something), it will get better as we go.

My menstrual cycle this month was 24 days. Last month it was 28 days and month before that was 21 days. I thought it was 21 days because I was on a lot of vitamins. Does your cycles shorten with age? I guess I will see what my cycle is next month, but it doesn't seem that my lie to my dr about three of my cycles being 21 days, is coming close to reality of 24 days. I'm was usually 30 days so I have no idea why my cycles are shorter. Does it decline with age? I need to figure out if my cycles are this short then I would need to be ovulating early then 5-9 days right? I'll see what dr #2 says.

GT77, respect the shorter cycles with age, I read somewhere thatīs normal and really can happens! wanted to wish you good luck with your sway, I hope you get your DD!!!

meeks, interesting what you mention about exercise and clomid. Every case has their particularities, no doubt! Exercise stats are amazing, but I donīt think is the way to go for me since with my DS I have started to do exercise (moderated) and Iīm a person who makes muscle very easy
    Good luck you too!!!
