Crazy about the milk and cereal... the only milk I like to drink with cereal and maybe with cookies is whole milk. And ice cream everynight before bed... all around conceiving the boys. And I drank 1/4- 1/2 a gallon while pregnant with DS1 and now he is allergic to dairy.
5 days a week I ate some type of frosted wheat cereal with whole milk. Realized recently I was eating 2-2 1/2 servings of cereal with a full cup of milk. On the weekends I made 2 slices of bacon and 1 diced potatoe mixed with - 1 tbsp of olive oil, 1 egg, garlic, onion, basil, and hot sauce (for extra fat throw in a teaspoon of bacon grease).2007

Thank you for sharing! That is a lot like what I ate, for bedtime snacks I used to have a HUGE bowl of cereal with berries and milk. Day after day I ate that. When I didn't have that, I had a huge bowl of full fat natural yogurt with berries. Everyone says, oh maybe you weren't eating that much dairy but I seriously was!

If you have milk with the Cheerios, that is protein and is just fine.
The Bran cereals are fine, so long as you don't take your vitamins (esp. Vit D, E, and the oils) at the same time because they can sweep the fats and fatsoluble vitamins, out of your digestive tract.
Coffee in the morning is fine so long as it's not JUST coffee. You need to eat some actual food or else your blood sugar tends to crash really low and that is not what you want for TTC blue.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I am nervous about the Kashi products for that very reason, the soy protein. It may be perfectly fine but until I see data that totally puts my mind at ease, I think it's better to avoid the highly processed artificial soy proteins (although tofu, miso, and soy sauce are ok) in favor of naturally occuring proteins that are found in meats, eggs, dairy, and nuts.
PS - I found an energy bar that does not contain soy, Larabar. http://www.larabar.com/ I hear they are supertiny, but they are all-natural and for an occasional snack on the go, it may be a good weapon to have in your arsenal (or your diaper bag!!)!!!
