XXforhubby TTC a GIRL Sway Attempt

Ps. I read in your sway that your DH was fasting and went veggie...but also that he was the heaviest he's ever been? Is that the aim...for us ladies to lose weight but for our husbands to gain it...while also fasting?

Most of our husbands would do nothing to sway. Please do not ask your husband to fast or anything other than possibly going vegetarian if he is willing to. the more we ask, the riskier it gets because some husbands end up getting so fed up with swaying that they'll refuse to do anything to help, or even to TTC any more (this has actually happened several times, mostly back on Ingender and that is why I instituted the policy of "if daddy ain't happy, ain't nobody happy" on this site instead.)

We have found that "chubby hubbies" tend to have more girls than fit ones. And additionally, men who are super thin also may have more girls, but that is less proven in my mind (simply because there are so few men who fit that category, at least in the age group that most of us are in.)

My husband was very definitely at his heaviest when we got our daughter. He was not fasting though.

Haha! I'm still getting used to typing DD too [emoji4]! With my boys he drank 1-2 maybe every weekend but not during the week. This time around, he drank 3-5 every night [emoji51]. We were under lots of stress with our DS2.

This is very much in line with the type of drinking my husband was doing when we got our daughter. WAsn't drinking with 3 of 4 boys and one was very sparing.

Wow! Well done on such a brilliant sway.
How did you manage to get hubby to DTD on the right days etc if he didn't know you were swaying?

Also--update us- how has hubby reacted to the news? I've been reading your posts for so long now and am so happy for you !!

You just BD when he wants to BD and pray it works out. This is how I got my DD too. Hubs was not on board with actively trying but was ok with taking the chance now and then, and by the grace of God it worked out for me.

😍😍😍😍😍 XX I am BEYOND overjoyed for you and your DH! I remember when you had your DS3 and I found out our third was also our DS3. Our sways were quite similar I do recall and You had such wonderful words of comfort and wisdom and it was all so true. It truly is amazing the bond you can have with DS3, mine is just the easiest happiest baby and as you once said "we get the child we need" (or basically that was the general gist) I'm a firm believer that we DO get who we need. I needed DS3 to show me that although I may always long for a DD I won't feel that hollow emptiness I did before he was born.

I got to see her today after a minor tumble down a few stairs Monday evening. I made myself land on my bottom and today I feel very achy. My wrist, knee, and left hip hurt the most. Thank goodness she is ok and everything is just fine with her. I learned my placenta is anterior so that is why I only feel her move 3-4 times a day. I'm so in love [emoji7]!!

I had my anatomy scan today, and she was doing great! She is SO active, but I barely feel any of it due to an anterior placenta. Here is my favorite pic from the scan today:
