Hi Momwithlove, about keeping track of calories I measure everything I eat and log it in myfitnesspal.
I know losing weight is a nono for blue, but I was morbidly obese, and have PCOS. I don't think I could have safely carried a pregnancy to term at my weight. I started the HE diet at the beginning of September, so that gives me about 8 weeks - hoping I ovulate around CD 16-18.
I got my girls with BD every day with a 3 day cut off. I think what I am going to do is keep BD every other day, but start using protection from CD 10. Then proceed with 3 attempts once I get a positive opk.

If you have trouble with holds and restricting fluids I would suggest the purple cb - so to be clear the Clearblue Dual Hormone Digital Opk test kit. It uses fmu so no need for holds or wondering if your sample is too diluted. It has three results, the open circle which will always be your result when first used as it needs to establish base levels. It will then move onto a flashing smiley once it detects a change in both lh and estrogen and then finally a solid smiley when it detects peak levels. Solid smiley is equivalent to a positive opk. The instructions will tell you what cd to begin testing based on your cycle length. I found them super easy to use, especially with being able to test every morning with fmu. If you suspect you have a short surge, you are able to test again after fmu test (so as well as fmu test you can test in the afternoon/evening but will need to attempt a hold) once you have a flashing smiley. I would suggest sticking to just the once a day with fmu initially though.

No problem! I just happened to stumble across this thread and your post. If yourself or anyone else here have questions please feel to join/post in the 2ww thread as well. Its great for a quick response about anything ttc related, its not just a place to wait out the 2ww in. Should be renamed a monthly Ttc & 2ww thread rather than just 2ww
Myself and other long term ladies often stick our heads in there. Good luck to you all [emoji3]

Ladies, for those who have doubts about bd pattern..i asked atomic for her advice about my bd pattern en she responded positively to this.
once i get +opk i will go for 3 attempts; evening of +opk, am of next day then pm of that day. From then continue EOD in case of delayed O.
So that’s why I chose for bd on:
O-1 +opk
O (I hope so and bd at am and pm)
I will skip the next day and continue on;
O+2
O+4
O+6
