Oh goodness Jen, just noted you're 11w5d! Wow! You'll get a scan again on Thurs, right? Here's hoping you see a sweet healthy little bean hangin' out in there. I know you won't feel better for awhile yet but so far, so good! FX the next appt goes a long way towards helping you bond with the bean.

Daisy really sorry for the BFN. I love your attitude though and reading your posts. It is clear that you are a language teacher of some sort. My spelling is awful as well despite my education. I have never been good at details and always looked at big picture only. Your job does sound great. WP is right one should not go into teaching for the shorter hours and perceived less stress. But I did go into my current profession with noble ideas about changing the world and quickly got tired of ambitious people who seem to do good to the outside world but are not so nice to their employees and those close to them. Or maybe I am being unkind and maybe constantly fighting misery simply makes one miserable. I don't think I have become that person yet, so maybe getting out while I can and teaching at a nice school like yours and passing on my love of literature and history to kids who care to listen and spend more time with my own family is not such a bad idea afterall. Looks like despite disagreeing with atomic so much I am a true girl mother and when faced with difficulty I would rather flight then fight.
I think I am definitely romanticising the idea of a farm though WP . It is so much hard work and the weather being crazy lately with drought and floods and storms all in one crop season. My heart goes out to you farming lot you are fighting nature non stop and that is the toughest job yet. GL to you and keep up that fighting spirit.

Thanks B! I'm planning on going to bed in a minute here as it's been a stressful 2 weeks an I'm tired. DH is putting the kids to bed by himself for me again tonight. He drew me a very nice candle light bubble bath last night and put the kids to bed. Then he made up this sexual game w/ Toy Story UNO Cards that we played...there's always a price.
A-n-y-w-a-y!
I'm going to assume my OB will have me take some blood tests tomorrow after my appt. and I have to remember not to pee right before I get there so I can make lovely pee pee in a cup. Always fun!
Thanks Ladies, you rock!

ZB I went to Belgrade (it was more of a transit though) in 2001. So it was not good time soon after the troubles over there. Most people were very nice. I find that generally Europeans like Australians and are see us a jolly lot without too much impact on the rest of the world good or bad so we are well accepted everywhere we go. I haven't been to any of those places in Greece but they sound fab.
I have been to most places in Europe (capital cities anyway). In Australia one must do a European trip either before or after uni. We get working holiday visas to live and work in the UK and then save up money and stay at dodgy backpacking places or go camping. But we do see Europe before kids arrive that way. I would love to go to the States next. All the glits and glamour of your country is very different to everything I have seen so far. Would love to c the main cities but would not mind visiting some of the other places too. Maybe one day when kids are big enough to enjoy Disneyland. Although the aussie dollar is so good lately it might be a good idea to go sooner rather than later (if only I had the money and was not thinking of a career change!!!).
Anywho more creamy mucus for me today after 2 very dry days. Thanks Lola about the FGD advice. I really should not try it considering my family's health history, but it is tempting and both IG and this website do agree it works. As bad as it is, it does actually work!Last edited by Layla; July 26th, 2011 at 11:31 PM.

Oh Illuv....i hope all goes fine with you. i had a m/c in feb. it did start with spotting but the spotting went on increasing. it sounds like urs is hardly any , so u should be really fine.
i would just advice to take as much rest as possible with ur legs up. i know u can do nothing if it has to happen , but i just felt that i should have stayed up in bed. i went for a social outing and the next day onwards the spotting increased , before that even with the spotting my beta levels were growing good and my doc seemed all ok.
So just try to rest. That may help or not but atleast u tried.....just my experiance.
praying all goes well......i can understand what u r going thru....tc hun

ITA with this!
Iluv what a sweetie your DH is! LOL to their being a little string attached, but still, it's thoughtful for sure! My DH would have just not have even thought about the bath part and gone straight for the action
Keep us posted after the appointment, FX all is well with you and the bean.
Great news Kris!!
Layla glad you're still seeing all the CM; that for me was definitely a sign! And still is, good gracious, the stuff won't STOP.
