It starts out feeling like you pulled your groin muscles or some general soreness. After a while it starts spreading to the actual pelvic girdle and you will feel a pain or a pressure just above or on the fat pad of your lady parts. Youll really feel it if you sit up wrong with your legs to wide etc. But heres a diagram of what happens and where youll feel the pain. From army injury my right hip is already bad. I have fluid in the joint and its just a very weak hip in the muscle. So the extra weight of baby sitting right on my hips makes it worse. This time it started VERY early compared to last time.

Sorry to crash your thread. Just wanted to send big hugs because of your spd Nahri!! I had this with all my pregnancies. Not Dr diagnosed, but absolutely certain I suffered from it. I found no relief. Sleeping was the worst. Going up and down steps was excruciating. And I learned really quickly to never put all your weight on one foot, so sitting down to put pants on was a most.
My ob's never took me serious about it. I always say I would labor 2 even 3 times in replace of the pain from it!!!

Best wishes for the rest of your pregnancy

    Welcome to the new additions!!

Nahri I had SPD with DS2 it was horrible, i wore a support band to try and help and after I delivered DS2 I had to use a walker and wear a band to help fuse me back together for a month, I started feeling it again with DS3 early but than it stopped, hopefully yours gets better or doesnt get worse for you it is soo painful! GL

Thank you ladies for the advice and comments about my horrible NP, I have been doing a lot of reading and have seen a lot of twin moms having false results so I have decided just to wait and after my NT scan if anything is picked up to go from there. I am already worrying for every cramp I have :/ I see my OB the 26th and am going to ask him exactly when and how many U/S I will have and if I wont have one between my NT and anatomy scan than I am going to pay for one around 15/16 weeks to find out what gender/s I am carrying.

missxo I feel you on that. I had to wear a support band with DS but like a week after delivery I went back to normal. I already have to use a walker on my bad hip days but now its turned into near constant useage because I dont get much rest time at home with my DS all day. Hubby is on a 16hr a day schedule right now. The only break time I get is the weekends and that has been few and far in between right now with him working extra weekend days. So I think that contributed to my early decline this time. With DS I could just lay around when I was hurting or soak in the tub. But this is definitely the last child for this reason and the normal bad state of my hip. Once DD is about 2 and out of the sids danger zone etc hes getting snipped!

Argh! It's getting real tomorrow. I have the blood test for the nt scan. I can't believe on Wednesday I'll be 13 weeks My house manager and my two assistant house managers know. Selected work mates know but due to gossiping staff no doubt my work mates for both the places I work for will all know my news very soon. Especially since one lady I work with also works for my other work place and she tends to gossip.

My gender dreaming success arrived safe July 2015. He is a complete dream come true and an absolutely beautiful little boy.

A huge thank you to Atomic for all her encouragement when I was up against things out of my control and ready to chuck it in. I can never thank you enough. Thank you also to all the other knowledgeable and ever supportive ladies that have helped and encouraged me. I truly believe my dream would not have come true without this site, my boy gender plan and the incredible love and support.

Boysway- I've put off telling my work as it will also spread like wild fire. But it's getting pretty obvious now so I may have to tell them soon. I've only been there 6 months so feel a bit bad.

I have a drs appointment on Wednesday. Ill be almost 15 weeks. She will ask if I want a scan as she has one in her office. But she's not that great at US (well not as good as the tech) and the image doesn't seem as clear. I'm tempted though...

Sarah, that's why I decided to finally tell people. Most of my shirts are loose but at times the belly is a little more obvious.

Hmm, I think I would have the scan. Whether she's good or not, it's another peak at your bub. If it were for something important, I'd go elsewhere. I'm looking forward to my nt scan, it's in 4 days I really hope I get a good nub shot.

Another question- do your kids jump on you? I mean when they are playing and being boisterous? I get really worried as my 2y/o will jump, elbow, kneel etc on my belly. I do get a little worried it could hurt the baby and am careful not to let him jump all over me. But he's quick do any of you have this with your kids?
I dont' know 100% it's 2 boys yet, but I do know it's at least 1 boy and I have a hunch it's 2! I felt better getting the gender reveal out of the way before the scan when I'm not as emotional.

My 2 year old definitely jumps on me 24/7 and it stresses me out! I always tell him he's hurting his baby brothers and then he kisses my belly and says sorry, but then 2 seconds later he does it again! I think/hope the baby is really well protected in there, but it worries me too so I understand!
