Deaks- just seen your post on the general bit, all makes sense now, sorry for what happenned. When I miscarried, I put all my efforts into trying to work out what could have gone wrong ...... it did sort of help, I had to do something!
Did you ever get a copy of the sway guide in IG? In there it recommended some tablets etc. to take to help egg quality etc. to prevent miscarriage or lesson the risk I should say. Ill def. be doing that this time round. Your post has so made me want to just crack on with ttc now especially with my history of PCOS, miscarriage, short lp etc. at least the sooner I try the sooner Ill know what chances I have and can sort problems out sooner hopefully!

Your midwife is 1000% wrong and any geneticist will agree with me on that. There is are a handful of very rare genetic diseases that can reduce your odds of carrying a healthy BOY but not a healthy girl. Please read this essay, it explains why.

Inglewood ~ did you friend stay team green? it must have been a shock for her if she believed she was having a girl. do you feel more tired this pregnancy or about the same? did you read your notes, do you have an anterior placenta? my babies always come early so i could perhaps only have another 7-9 weeks left to go.. :S how time flies lol unfortunately i'm a born worrier so i still don't quite dare to believe i'm having a girl.. i still think the worst is going to happen and still don't dare to go shopping. fx for no more colds or bugs now! i'm sick of being poorly and under the weather! i too suffer congestion as well! my nose is nearly always blocked! drives me mad lol
unfortunately all 3rd trimester symptoms has hit me hard this time and i suffer daily from congestion, swelling and heartburn. Lovely
but apart from that it's all groovy! i love being pregnant
