Nt test for me tomorrow. Totally excited. I'm gonna take our eldest two to the scan and leave the baby with someone, because he will be a pain in the arse and not worth having there. He can't stand anyone else touching me if he isn't closer to me. Bless his cotton socks. Can't wait. Gonna ask for a nub shot and hope for the best. Haven't talked about it with Hubby cos I don't want him to talk me out of asking. But I won't be taking it as gospel anyway so there will be an element of surprise for me.

I put all three photos on the ultrasound section here and I had 7 girl guesses, one from atomic. I also posted it on nub experts and got all girl guesses there.
From the first pic I was guessing boy or thought that the line might be another body part or cord. But I had no clue about the nub theory.

Good luck, Bella!
I'm anterior this time also. No idea if I ever was in the past, but I don't recall anyone mentioning it. We've had a SUPER hard time hearing heartbeat because of it. Scares me every time I go in and they take forever to find it. Dopler worked on Monday to hear it, but yesterday at the midwife, they had to use the ultrasound to find it again. Go figure. She also told me that I may be as far along as 22 weeks before I feel kicks. She showed me on the ultrasound that the baby was kicking, but I couldn't feel a thing.

I'm in funk and hoping to come out of it soon. I have a little cold that isn't too bad, just enough to make me feel miserable, lack any energy that I thought I was getting back and make me even more tired (I didn't think that was possible at this point!). I even sound whiny, lol, sorry about that. After my ultrasound the other day I am really trying to prepare myself to hear boy again. I just don't want to get my hopes up any at all. We close on our new house on Tuesday, I haven't packed a thing and have no motivation to do so. I'm excited about the house, just not the painting and kitchen renovation that we need to do. And I hate moving so I'm procrastinating packing I guess. If I decide to let them tell me the gender I should know by next week too.
Twointow, are you nervous about finding out? I get a sick feeling in my stomach when I think about it. If its a girl I want to know but I'd rather not if its a boy, an impossible thing to ask, ha! Either way I'm totally keeping it from DH and I think I can do it bc this pregnancy has been so rough (I STILL have lots of nausea at night at 13 weeks, ugh) and I'm just emotionally drained right now so I don't think I will have a problem controlling my reaction.
Girliedreamz, I read that this is usually the case. It kind of bums me out because this is my last pregnancy and i LOVE to feel baby kicking. Of course, the delay in locating the heartbeat won't do anything for my stress level either!! I hope you feel her kick soon and that the heartbeats gets easier to find. I also hope she stays head down for you and you don't get all back labor! I read that is also a big downside with anterior placentas. I am trying to stay drug-free this time around ( I made it 32 hours last time) but back labor isn't going to help me out any and neither would a breech baby, ha! Hoping it goes smoothly for both of us! The only tiniest piece of finding out it was anterior is that an OWT (and some statistics) seem to say that it happens more with girls than boys. Now before anyone responds to this, I KNOW I can't put any stock in that and that it is just as likely to be a boy but it's nice to hear those OWT's from time to time.(DS2009)

Funny me and my friend both had girls when we had the anterior placenta. Didn't realize that was an OWT.

Cred5ed- fingers crossed you hear girl next week and feel better. I had 2 major colds with pink eye in the first trimester and it stunk. Good luck on the move, painting and Reno. That's a lot for a pregnant girl!!
